uhh, the average elite high jumper is like 6 3, but sometimes u get someone like stefan who is 5 9. height is a huge advantage though

it does have somewhat to do with it if ur taller u have a higher center of gravity wich helps u have more vertical lift

Hi Janick! I saw you jump in the Swedish indoor in Gothenburg. Never seen anything like it. You where the hot topic that day and will be in the future. Don´t aim to high- it eill come naturally. You have had an explosive succes but you need to be prepared to face some problems like injury or just a bad season. Remember that you have many years to get to the TOP. Good luck- Big respect.

It's all in the technique. It provides maximum height for running only 15 or 16 feet on a runway.

Incredible... as for "ticks before he jumps" many high jumpers have their little "quirks" before they jump... these little things help them focus and prepare for doing something amazing!
