Wow. What a interesting Country in the world. Someday I really would like to visit. And also this country must have special history. Thanks for uploading.
now wheres the video showing the foreign police force that beats the real Bahrainis, or the the government destroying the pearl monument, or the monarchy inviting foreign troops to kill its own citizens? Who cares about skyscrapers and race courses only the elite benefit from those. Why don you also mention that out of the 30 plus Bharaini islands the people essentially have access to only 3 and the rest are used for lavish palaces for a spoiled monarchy, id love to see a video on all that.
@monj1985 "g the foreign police force that beats the real Bahrainis" There's none. Cause the Saudi police touched no one and there's no single evidence that they ever did. Just word of mouth like the rest of your propaganda. And excuse me - The real Bahrainis? Thus the majority of sunnis that weren't protesting aren't real Bahrainis? Yet you insist the protests aren't discriminatory.
@CreepyLizard no the sunni population is over blown, alot of them are expats selected to boost the sunni population, and those pro government protests were attended to by alot of ppl outside the country. Btw Im sunni but im honest to what the real situation is. In your mind the saudis are just there to have a picnic? The reality of the situation is this monarchy is going to fall all theyve done is just make ppl more angry, you cant run a police state forever.
@monj1985 I'm athiest and I have no selectiviety over Sunnism or Shiitsm, but to claim that the Anti-overthrow rally was overblown with "expats" then that's just propaganda since I have been there myself and I have not witnessed a single non-Arab nor Syrian/Jordanian. I have never even met Syrian/Jordanian Bahrainis across the country; they make such a low minority. However, if you want to go in details of who are 'the real Bahrainis' are - as far as my logic goes; everyone, but (continued+)
@CreepyLizard first of all i the pro-government rallies were attended by foreigners from other gcc countries, and if you were there im sure you noticed all the gcc flags that were up. Secondly if you want to see expats all you have to do is call the police & you'll see a pakistani. I'm not saying shias are the only "real" bahrainis, Im saying that the shias are the majority, and the sunnis are tying to boost numbers with expats. The monarchy is a bunch of royal brats, they will fall.
@monj1985 What you're saying makes half sense - you're declaring that the anti-overthrow rallies should be taken with a pinch of salt because some other Arabs from the GCC attended and gave support to it? This is as silly as the claim that the protests is purely an Iranian agenda because Iran gives support to it (vocally). I actually did call the police in the last 3 weeks, about 5 came to my house - not a single one of them was a non-Bahraini so nice try there.
@CreepyLizard Sending armed forces and tanks to suppress bahraini citizens is more then just a mere showing of support. The shield agreement is meant to protect bahrain from foreign invasion, not to protect the monarchy from its own citizens. I dont know where in bahrain you are living but its a fact that their security force is largely foreign, infact theyre recruiting more pakastanis now then ever before. Perhaps the Saudi military came to your door dressed as police lol
@monj1985 "I dont know where in bahrain you are living but its a fact that their security force is largely foreign," I actually agreed with on that point - however for your mere example of "calling the police and seeing from myself" - It's a failure. I understand your point and that you were trying to type it in a creative sense, but it's still a failure. :P "Perhaps the Saudi military " - Stay in denial.
@monj1985 Give me evidence that the GCC police touched anyone. They are protecting government buildings way in the south of Bahrain (and a few are stationed in Manama) - the tactic of bringing in the Saudi troop was more of a "threat towards Iran" from interfering + Protecting Bahraini governmental buildings. As far as evidence go - they haven't entered a single Bahraini village
@CreepyLizard many people have reported to being tortured by saudi interrogators. That would explain the many who have died while in "police custody" with clear signs of torture. Furthermore, all these tanks sweeping thru shite villages have bahraini flags on them but theyre clearly saudis.
@monj1985 But I understand the point of this was only to make a creative response. I also aknowledge that naturalized sunnis do exist in Bahrain but they are horribly low in number, and I have seen none in the Fateh mosque rally I attended. As for the problem in a matter of concept; the general sunni population is with the government, and the generally shiite population is against it - So taking note of Bahrain's history with naturalizing shiites, why should it be a problem to naturalize sunnis
The sunnis Bahrain mainly naturalizes are from Pakistan's army, with previous training from Pakistan (and cheap labor) are they living in better conditions than Bahrainis + taking Bahraini job oppritunities? Absolutely not. They are soley brought in to work in the army - which the shiite population was "banned" for ever since the asassination attempt in 1982. (Which was for a fact related to Iranian interference at the time) as for Jordanians.. (continued)
(continue) as for Jordanians, they make a very small number of the Bahraini people population and in a matter of fact; from my knowledge that I got from relatives who worked as teachers - relatively all of the employees working in school are Bahraini shiites with a smaller number of Sunni bahrainis and an even smaller number of Jordanians - the strike affected schools all across Bahrain for this very reason; shiites have most of the jobs and the Jordanian population deprives them from none.
@CreepyLizard because it was discovered that their naturilization policy was purposely created to naturalize far more sunnis for the purpose of shifting the demographics. Thats a major problem
@monj1985 (continue1) But as far as history goes - The Sunnis would be the so-called "real Bahrainis" because at the times where Al-Khalifa were put in power by the British, other Arabs fought over power in Bahrain while the Brits wanted their alkhalifa partners to stay in control, thus they suggested that they would open the door for Shiites from all across Iraq and Saudi Arabia - leading to less interest by other Arab (Sunni tribes) in the country due to its large shiite population (contin+)
@monj1985 (continue2) due to its large shiite population. The shiites who were outlawed and turned into refugees back in Saudi and Iraq, thus - as far as history goes, shiites are for a fact the ones whose populsation is 'overblown', however, I won't get there and to me there's no such thing as "Not a really Bahraini" - Everyone deserves to have a voice and everyone deserves to have a stance. Cherry picking who the "real bahrainis" are in this case is disgusting. (continue+)
@monj1985 (continue3) " theyve done is just make ppl more angry" Try to think individually, and from the government's shoes if you can - not collectively. The government offered a whole month for dialogue and during that same period of time; a 30 Trillion project to improve housing was laid down by the GCC. 4 Corrupt major ministers were sacked out. Withdrawal of police and army. 20,000 employment oppritunities.
If this was to happen in syria, or tunisia, everyone would settle down. (contin+)
@monj1985 (continue4) Things would have setlled down just like they did in Oman and Jordan - Bahrain for a fact did more than these two countries did in a period of one month. However, things didn't. In fact - they expanded. Why? Because we have so-called men of god who have incredible power in controlling the youth across the country - Leading them to act collectively. You can see what I'm talking about when you come across pages with the title of "نريد من علمائنا الفتوى بالجهاد"
There is a better 1 called the real bahrain 2010-2011.. bahrain as changed big time.. even though this was taken in '08 it feels like 10 years old hehe.. but nice 1
