  • MUITO, MUITO BOM!

  • GRANDE THE CURE....AUN ESPERO QUE LLEGUEN A PERU....

  • like the 93 live version, but they are still great!

  • Até dá gosto ser humano...

  • did anyone else notice he did the second verse where the first verse should have been.. ^_^ Robert is so cute.

  • The 1993 vhs show is superior.Firstly the added keyboard sound really makes this song. Also the sound the group got from their guitars in the early 1990's was brilliant. I say this as a fan. Only my subjective opinion.

  • too much fast.

  • ...great song, and Jason does such a good hard rock drumming for this, so good....this is one of the best songs they have.....and better than anything the lame Smiths could do....they crapped out after a few years, Cure is going strong almost 30 years later....now that is a band AND play 3 hour concerts!....

  • Sucks without the keyboard.

  • Masterpiece!!!!!

  • THE SMITHS

  • the I more Iisten to this song the more I love it.

  • MY FAVOURITE CURE SONG.

    NEVER TIRE OF IT.

SOUNDS AS GOOD NOW AS IT DID IN 1985!!!

  • llllllllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeee

  • gamato

  • great song - fantastic on album and live...

  • I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @moz85214 I too love love the Smiths but they always seemed to have to much agenda...anti anti anti!

  • Amazing harmonizers on the vocals! wow

I wish I could learn from frontmixers like this!

  • i watch you like im of stone as you walk away, a line for carla

  • nu1 para sempre..........

  • kargia

  • beautiful song

  • awesome, fabulous! amazing!

  • Beatiful performance...Jason Cooper is the best thing that happened to The Cure.....and Porl is such an amazing guitar player....best reincarnation of the band ever!

  • lol... you're the first person I've seen on here who complements Jason Cooper. Everyone else says he sucks and they miss Boris.

I think Jason is a damn good drummer, but I like Boris's drumming style more. However, Boris was with The Cure when they were in their prime and they sounded much different back then than they do now...

  • Great!!

  • I'm not the biggest Cure fan but I do like some songs (mostly off of Disintegration) and this is one of them!

  • @CaptainOats74 too bad it's not off of Disintegration

  • @CaptainOats74

This was released on their (four songs) Quadpus 12" EP back in 1986.

I own this puppy with great pride.

    Disintegration came 3 years later.

It's sad, so many great bands from the 80's who released dozens of albums received no recognition from the N.American music academy back in the day. Now any yahoo today can get 5 nominations for a single song.

Both disturbing and pathetic. Well, that's my rant for today.

  • LovEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • 12 years is a chunk of life man, but this is the kinda song that has no life spand

  • @retrocareermelted What is a life spand? Ha! Ha! Ha! (Don't you mean 'span')

  • i love this song and i love this band <3.... from slovakia

  • Very unic singer/voice!

This song is also very special!

    10P from the Swedish jury!!!

    :)

  • i fly with this music...

  • Such a lovly song :)

  • Супер!!!

  • Jesus 12 years really did a number on the singer... but his voice is still as good

  • I love this song.. and it's even better live...

  • how come no1 ever talks about porl thompson? every cure video its always about robert and simon. i'm just wondering is all

  • that's because they're not talking about the music ;) porl is the best guitarist the cure ever had - thank god he's back!!!!!

  • robert smith is just so cute

  • Yes he is but Simon and Jason too .)

  • this is my favourite song written by the cure

  • i totally agree ;)

  • Feliz Cumpleaños Robert Smith y que sigas componiendo canciones como solo tu sabes acerlo, saludos desde Peru

  • Claro.

    The Cure para siempre

  • veramente robert smith e' uno sparo nel buio fantastico

  • The cure x everrrrr!!!!! I love Robert Smith and the band, their songs are so cool!

  • Robert Smith is a dream ♥

  • in a fairly nightmarish way

  • excellent song! i'll be always in love with this group!

  • the cure, muito legal, eu vi esses caras num show no ginásio do ibirapuera em São Paulo, nos anos 80, inesquecível... bons tempos. valeu.

  • very nice! thanks for the upload

  • Being a Curehead since spring of '86 and seeing them for the first time at the University of Minnesota's Northrup Auditorium in August '86, hot damned, if this isn't one of the most massive attempts by The Cure at "A Night Like This", then crap on it - The Cure always gets away with altering their songs live. Stop your bitching people!

  • One of my alltime fav Cure songs. This rendition had some rocky spots, including the drummer ruining the approach of the intro, as was previously noted. That and Bobbie fluffing the lyrics here & there. I do like this song amped up though, as it's a powerful song that's propelled by a very strong bassline and rhythm. Check out the album version on an iPod with good headphones to see the difference in the approach of the intro. It really changes the impact of the first downward swing of the bass.

  • Robert Smith still looks gorgeous in my Opinion

  • boa musica!grande the cure!

    vlw zicoskywalker!

  • THE CURE is the best!!!

    i love this song

    i am curesca!!!!!

  • Its so Beautiful!

And the Vox still looks Gorgeous!

  • lush, my computers fucked, it kept skiping, but lush, the cure rock ass!

  • I like this song, but this version is not the best one. It sounds quite dirty and disorganized.

  • I love this song so much :D And I love this version :) This had helped med trough some tuff times...

  • This song is too beautiful!!!

I could cry with all my heart at it's beauty...

  • very good! but some of ther titels are not so rocksoun like on this festival?

  • i wish i was there:)

  • essa musica é perfeita =)

  • Porl is the man!! Robert is a god!

  • i saw them in rome, in cali, kc, hong kong and comming up huston at the toyota center fukin asome just for them i have spent 5,895.78 hella wurth it

  • me encantan buen performan robert es la esencia dela bandano hay dudas ,son dioses

  • His voice is great! He sounds almost exactly the same 20 years later!

  • nice lead guitar and bassist!

  • Oh my God!!! I cant' wait to see them at Red Rocks in Colorado on Wednesday. I could pee myself haha. It'll be my first time seeing them after waiting 17 years to do so. Deep breaths haha.

  • omg i wanna go see them so bad ill even pay 1000000000000 hundres billion dollars for a backstage pass lol

  • love this song

love robert love this amazing band

  • I like the studio version of this song, but I also like this one because I think Robert's guitar solo fits the athmosphere of it better than the sax in the original version.

  • The solo from "Show" is way better then this! check it out...that version is prob the best version out there...

  • I have that CD! I love that version as well!

In my book, he truly is a living legend!

  • The best solo is the one in Orange!

and btw, Jason totally ruined the beginning of the songs where only the keyboards, in this cas the guitars, should be the only one to be played. But Mr. Cooper always plays the cymbals again and again spoling the feeling of this great song...

  • Como sempre, The Cure tem a capacidade de levar a gente para lugares desconhecidos da nossa mente.

  • show de bola.

  • I saw them 3 times on the Cure 4 Tour and can simply say that this is the best live band around(except Tuxedomoon). Saw them in Stockholm, Oslo and Berlin.

  • in berlin? maybe you were standing next to me? :)

that was awesome, i hope i'll see them again some day:)

  • maybe! it was a very good show and VERY pleased they did The Drowning Man and Primary from my favourite Cure album.

I guess they will do a follow-up tour after the new album comes out.

    I wish...

  • i love the cure and i saw them live but goddamit he looks creepy in this video

  • Creepy? Nooo. Just look into those big, beautiful eyes and all evil is gone.

  • Robert is so amazing he is the only singer that i know that hasn't changed so much his appearence since ealier, and he still got the most beatiful male voice thats incredible

  • i agree! :O <3 Love RObert

  • i find this song simply genious...love it..

  • i like it

  • Every time i listen to this song, it keeps getting better end better.

I miss the young cure so much.

  • is so easy to him to sing these great songs...i love him cause he did always what he liked

  • His songs never die and always ring true...even after all these years, they still sound so fresh and "big" just like the first time I heard them...simply amazing.

  • best band in the world ever,no matter the changes

  • Since I was 17 (long time ago, and THe Cure was at their second album this group is the best out there.... I always loved the deep message behind each song.

Charlotte sometimes, Faith, Hanging garden, Boys don't cry and the list goes on and on

  • I think Robert Smith played the solo

  • la mejor banda del planeta si llegan apl año al peru voy de primera

  • if I would eat people, this would be the first band I would eat. sexy, hot and tasty as hell.

  • wtf :P

  • totally agree. i'd devour the rest of the band, and save smith for last. mmmm.

then i'd proceed to eating chiodos. :P

  • Wow!!!

    Perfect!!!

    One of my fav...

  • I missed the saxo solo, but it was still a good version.

  • I would rather hear Porl's guitar than a sax, Porl is so amazing!!!

  • I totally agree.

  • with anastacho, I mean.

  • hes so beautiful , god mary is lucky!

  • He still sounds the same. Fucking incredibleleleel!!!

  • Maybe my favorite Cure song - So beautiful...thanks!

  • Loove this song <3

  • This whole DVD is so great. Everytime i watch Just Like Heaven on the festival DVD it brings me to the verge of tears. The part when Robert says "your just like a dream" and then porl goes into the solo and everything goes to a white tint, it just makes me awestrucken

  • faltan mucho los teclados, i miss keyboard

  • great song robert please dont play lead anymoore

  • que pasada

  • wow

    i want to change it,all . . .

  • increible! the cure es insuperable, pronto tendre el dvd!!

  • Wow....Robert Smith compositions are so good they can be done with a full music orchestra or stripped down to guitar-bass-drum as shown here...that's when a song is a good song.
