I'm not sure I've yet recovered from the disappointment of the promised 9-DVD box set of JM's work being reduced to just a 3-disc 'Best of' collection - and that was back in 2008!

Normally I hate presenter lead documentary, preferring, for example, the contemplative narration only documentaries that I watch on German telly, but in Jonathan Meades' case I make a very definite exception.

Jonathan is brilliant so much more challenging than that boring tosser Melvin Bragg I have a friend who's daughter works in BBC Radio she says everyone hates Bragg when he comes in to record a program, he is a ignorant shit to all the studio staff.
