  • Now, I'm no RP fanatic by any means...

    @markstuk

    You must be on the pipe! Are you actually telling me that The Meters are awful session players!?! You better sit down and listen to "Sneakin' Sally...." again

    @ pretorious700

    If I'm not mistaken, the drummer on this track was Tony Thompson - who for a minute, was being groomed to replace John Bonham after his performance with Zep at Live Aid. This version of Trick Bag is the fonkiest I've ever heard, Earl King wishes his version sounded like this!

  • Great tune, great video, thanks!

  • I love Robert Palmer, but this is the crappiest cover version of this song I've ever heard. They have no clue where the downbeat ought to be.

  • @pretorious700 Yes, Robert Palmer is known for playing with the worst session players with no sense of where the downbeat is... Or maybe there is another reason? :-)

  • @markstuk You are an idiot.

  • @cubbus09

    Clearly a perception of Irony is not amongst your core strengths..

  • @markstuk Or a perception of musicality either. Bet he only ever eats vanilla ice cream too. "Rocky road? Too radical for me..."

  • Great one, thanks.

  • Thank you!

  • Label it better
