Nursing was not a passion and i did not excel in it because of that. I come from a home with just enough money to do what you have to do to survive and that what i was doing. Now i look back and say hey wait that's not living i'm 21 with no kids and nothing holding me back, WHAT AM I WAITING FOR? Mama raised me now it's time for me to get out and become my own woman plus i have a great man behind me pushing me towards my dreams he's a great supporter.

I do believe that you MUST follow your own dreams. Mama will be proud that you did live your own life with passion. Trust me, no one needs a passionless nurse, honey! I am soooooo glad you have a great man to support you. Spread your wings and FLY!!

WOw kim this video spoke to me when the girl spoke about her passion but people changing her mind. I'm actually going through this now i'm 21 and i was going to school for nursing, knowing that in my heart i wanted to sing, act dance express myself..but being the obidient child that i am, i actually listened to my mama and went to school for what ppl call something more "REALISTIC".

Your project looks amazing. I love how you speak so fluently to your audience. You speak effortlessly without thinking about what you are saying? How do you prepare for engagements like that?

@Csmart01 thanks, some of the speech is prepared ... I research where I'm going so I can tailor my talk to the specific audience and then the rest of it comes from the heart and from what comes up in the moment!

And don't forget that I got my training as a standup comedian and I know how to react in an impromptu moment!
