omg i was! i am from delview band! at the concert at seaqum i was the one wearing the micky mouse gangster hat! i was with you at the festival!!!!!:O XD
It portrays the mighty LionsGate bridge with sound imagery that rivals the boldness of hundreds of marching soldiers it also brings out the youthful nature of peaceful ShannonFalls then it continues with StawamusChief, its dangerous yet grandeur cliffs shown through sudden accents and ending with a soft tune as if one has finally conquered the monolith. The suite then ends with BeyondWhistler as it provokes our imaginations asking us "what lies beyond the thick and endless forests of whistler?"
Most beautiful piece I've ever heard. We started practicing this in our school orchestra, but our conductor couldn't take it any more - we seriously butchered it! We're much better now though, maybe it's time to get it out again!
played this song when i was in high school band...it's the first orchestral song I've honestly ever cried to, but for good reason: it's such an amazing and beautiful song...
Aww i love this song! my sister and i are doing it im my orchestra at my music center. i have about 62 measures of rests because i play the timpanini! so beautiful!
We're doing this in our marching band show. I'm going to get the French horn solo, if our band director decides to make it that. I've been practicing a lot.
The West Vancouver Youth Band is playing this. Its actually commisioned for us actually. It says our name at the top of the sheet music. Thats how cool we are
We're playing it in my band, and at first we didn't like it, but then it grew on us. It's a really beautiful song. Beyond Whistler is my favourite, but this comes in second :D
Man I love this song ! I play the french horn and I can't seem to get the first solo right. Its frustrating...
