Uhh....There are more than 7-10 people working on this. Looking at a video and seeing a single room and thinking that is their entire working space is stupid. Indie game companies are 1-10 people.
Bioware is a triple A gaming company, they have way more than 10 people per project.
That's a very small developement team too. Did you see the small office they're working in? So from that and the meeting you can tell there's only about 7-10 devs. Too bad, it's a great concept but it will be just more marketing hype the same as almost every other game, instead of a genuinely great game. I also noted that this game looks a great deal like the 7 year old game Kotor. I know it's based off that but come on, that's hardly cutting edge. Right now anything is better than WoW, so

Seeing that team sitting around the table doesn't exactly inspire confidence. You have 35% women and women don't know how to make games. The others give me the impression they're just trying to make a buck.
Some people say the storyline will suck and its better to have quests. But heres my opinion. Quests are completely boring, theres no in depth story to them. Quests like go there, but a vial, kill 10 walking plants, etc. I mean seriously u get the same content over and over. But bioware, SWTOR in specific, has this in depth story. You have the power to control your destiny. One story of a character will never be identical to the next one. Now that is what i call success.

@Martyr022 I would imagine there will be quests not associated with the main storyline. For example: If the level cap is 50 I doubt the storyline would bring you straight to lvl 50 by the end of it. It is more likely that they will have 1 of 2 scenarios. One possibility is that you will go through portions of your quests as your level progresses. I.E. at lvl 1 you start your story, lvl 5 the next story quest chain is available, so on and so forth.
@Martyr022 The other possibility is that the storyline quests will not be level reliant or specific. But I consider this one unlikely. So most likely kill/gather/find quests will still be all throughout the game. Perhaps Bioware will surprise us though. I hope so!

That's completely subjective... only you can answer that after playing both. They're too different from eachother to even be compared. Anyone who says otherwise is just biased... personally I love WoW, but this game is all I've ever wanted in an mmo, so for me it might be "better".
I have a geared level 80 on WoW, but if this game is anywhere near what it looks to be, I will cancel my account in a heartbeat and jump to The Old Republic.
WoW isn't a bad game. It is, in fact, a pretty good game. However, the grind is brutal. Nothing in that game can be accomplished without an unhealthy amount of time-consuming grind. Everything requires weeks to do, whether saving honor points or raiding.
If TOR removes much of the grind, I'm going all in.
I`m anxious to see what the system requirements are. So far from what little game play we`ve actually seen it does resemble a bit of WoW and doesn`t look as stunning as say Mass Effect is. I hate having to upgrade my PC to play games but I think I will for this one ifI can`t run it.

kill x many boars, and collect there meat,
come back and give it to me
and then when your done with that, and your at lvl 60, (lvl 80 if you bother to buy the two expantions) expect some instancing with 8 people or more all the time trying to get good gear.
or go to battlegrounds and fight for points that get you special gear.
I would serioiusly not expect this game out for about a year people there is so much content to master and beside i dont want this out early as much as i want to play. I would love it to be as bug free as possible when it hits stores.

Ok for the last Time this game is PC only not Xbox 360 or ps3 because MMO's are usualy PC for reasons of Data problems, compatibility, addons, Quik fix patches and the fact A keybourd and mouse will beat a controler in lots of key features such as hotkeys and such.

I really don't want to bash this game, believe me, I'm not that kind of guy, but as a console, non-mmorpg, guy that loves star wars and thinks kotor especially was some of the best gaming times of my gaming career this will ruin it for me. i am hoping they are not abandoning kotor 3 completely, and if they are I hope they at least do this right so that kotor isn't scarred as a series. I really don't want to bash this game, believe me, I'm not that kind of guy, but as a console, non-mmorpg, guy that loves star wars and thinks kotor especially was some of the best gaming times of my gaming career this will ruin it for me. i am hoping they are not abandoning kotor 3 completely, and if they are I hope they at least do this right so that kotor isn't scarred as a series. i think lucas arts might just be the publisher or atleast the rights holder. It's made by Bioware so there's nothing to be worried about they make awesome games (KOTOR 1)

and if bioware needs money they can do what sonic team did on phantasy star online for the reg xbox online make it xbox live required and charge a extra $10 for a "hunter license" (thats what they called it)

It's not really much as that. Almost every mmo who tried to make a xbox 360 mmo and pc mmo has given up. It's too difficult and it can slow down production. I think the mmo huxley just FINALLY gave up on xbox

The Old Republic will be on 360. DC Rising will be on the PS3. Do your homework before you state an opinion which is nothing more than your opinion.

360 yeah it would suck, the only system that may have the capablilty of holding a game like this would be PS3 XD. Its tech is far beyond the 360. No offence ment to Xbots. It would be cool to see it on the PS3 and have the same type of fighting like DC Universe. Instead of clicking and watching them attack..... PC is better for just about any type of game actually. My PC is more powerful then both of them. And for lots of games you don't have to pay a fee to play with other people online. And people give all the credit of the PS3 to the Japanese, so you fail EPICLY.
