  • *sigh*...its a shame you NEVER appreciate an era til its gone....good memories

  • bring the bands back

  • Is that the GZA with the yellow jacket on the keyboard?

  • Memories !

  • Crush 40's better..really?? just sdfu.

  • What an era. If I had a choice to relive in these times, or back in the 90's... I'd definitely go with the 90's.

Music today is meaningless. All what it does now is promote and evoke negative influences to come about.

This song as well as "What About Your Friends" By. TLC, are pure examples of how much has changed in the hip-hop industry.

The new generation just don't realize how much people actually cared back then, and they won't listen because their minds are poisoned already... oh well

  • New Jack Swing baby!!!

  • kids look at like i'm retarded when they here me bumping this shit.....THEY CAN SUCK MY DICK

  • @Robbanks40888 i agree robbank kids now dont even play instruments anymore,

they are already using computers to do the sing and the playing so when i listen to these old school jammy's and they got something to say they can all go jump on an elephant head and i mean the lower head'

  • LIKE ! If You Want Joe Public To Get Back Together !

  • I remember seeing this group do this song on soul train.....

  • yaeyah classic

  • I feel like Al bundy that almost could never find song. I've been asking everyone I group with for years about this song. Nobody remembers it. I kept thining it was called You GOTTA LIVE AND LOVE, but later I found out it was LIVE AND LEARN. I was 7 years old when I first heard this song, I feel to pretty dam good to hear it again. Finally I got my song again!

  • i hate vevo!!!!!!!!!

  • As soon as I heard that the lyrics weren't "Can you feel life.." I paused the video.

  • Live and Learn is One of my favorite New jack swing song forever. Best New jack swing song ever! Because it reached #4 on U.S. 100. NJS/90's baby!

  • The fake guitar playing is annoying

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • Se escuchaba en las tardeadas de la Escuela Secundaria 92-93

    qué recuerdos!!!!!!!

  • Classic! I had to find this song again.

  • I really like the message and the lyrics of this song. "you've got to live and learn, you've got to live and learn...before you shoot your sperm, you've got to live and learn." Basically saying you need to go thru life experiences, gain knowledge, wisdom, be financially secure, before you bust a nut inside a chick and reproduce. many people in the US need to take that advice, listen to this song, put it on their ipod.

  • Live and let live, Learn and teach, it is freedom aswell as a most wonderful blessing.

  • Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever - Gandhi

  • driving around in my jeep, cats keep looking, but they don't know anything about this!

  • their 1st album and all the songs in it was great!!

  • i forgot about the malcom x hats, lol

  • this song reminds me of the skating days

  • My gosh! MEMORIES!!!!! I remember this song was out when I was like 5! It was and still is an awesome song! I remember they sang this on the new Mickey Mouse Club at the time. I don't think this song ever got the credit it was due. Such a good message.

  • You got to live and learn

    Before your ass gets burn

  • lol @ the era of locs/braids with the fade on the side lol...

  • @NateyNuclear

i too used to bust a mean running man to this track as well...thats awesom hehehehe

  • Great song - super underrated!

  • i liked this song alot when i was 6...no idea how i realized what song it was 19 years later

  • OMG I haven't heard this song in ages!! Memories!

  • How comes NATO refuse to Live and learn? Regarding Iraq, Afg'stan and now Libya!!!

  • these guys must be sonic fans >>

  • @EliteE9Nine

I saw what you did there. Infact I saw what all ya'll did there. This came out in 1992. Crush 40 made the theme song for Sonic Adventure 2 in 2001, nearly ten years later. Crush 40 are Joe Public fans. As for the rest of you guys, why are you trying to spark up war between two different songs with the same title for? I could understand if someone did a cover but come -on-. :(

  • @OrochiShiki I agree...

I actually found this when I typed it in, but this song is extremely nice...

In fact, no one seems to berate Van Canto for Covering Metal songs "Cappella" style...

    Angers me a little...

I do like this song though!

  • @VulcanHeStan lol, simply lol.

  • First song that I ever memorized. I wish I could have learned a thing or two from this song and video as much as I listened to it, but like the song says, I had to live and learn.

  • sonic advanture is better. this shit sucks.

  • sonic advanture is better.

  • Fuck you commercialized VEVO shit hole .

  • sonic adventure 2's live and learn is better

    no offence

  • They totally got the trumpet part from "Steely Dan - Peg"

  • A heavy rotation on the video music channel The Box back in the summer of 1992.

  • 2 people haven't learned yet.

  • Respect for your songs, when I was young this was my fav bad.

  • Bring back the 90's, 2000's are not that great still no flying cars lol

    LIVE AND LEARN

  • darn these guys remind me of a young mint condition

  • 1992 Baby!! The 90's was such a versatile era. You had 'informative' songs as well as 'gangsta' ones and all co-existed nicely and the music field was well-balanced as well as being wonderfully entertaining. Especially the ballads (like "I Miss You" -Joe Public).

These guys were Keith Sweat's back-up band during his tour for "I'll Give All My Love To You" CD. They helped write, produce, played instruments on, and sung the background to the next CD's title song "Keep It Comin'". (1991).

  • @MystroMusicMan MAN, That was the golden age of music.RnB, Rap, even the movies were all so classic.I think all the consolidation in the entertain biz has brought the standards down considerably

  • @tuumz Definitely!

  • almost 20 years later this song is till relevant.

  • @badandy8888 it goes to show you how little people ever change

  • I use to love this song.

  • 2 people got their bridges burned

  • NBA Jam Music Videos soundtrack

  • why did the kid pick up the gun, and then throw it? Now another child will get it. Should have tossed it in the garbage can.

  • @jkemp091 just, showing a flashback. that if he hasa gun and years later until he's an adult if he doesnt live and learn, he will end up in jail or maybe worse and so he throws the gun away.

  • @jkemp091 that is so true.. that kid lived but he didnt learn how to be a lil bit smarter

  • @NakitaBenjamin2c I did too before I saw the video back in 92(I don't know why)!

  • LIVE AND LEARN

Hangin on the edge of tomorrow...

    LIVE AND LEARN

    On the words of yesterday

    LIVE AND LEARN

If you beg or if you borrow

    LIVE AND LEARN

You may never find your way...

  • they don't make danceable music like this anymore. I guess the message empowers people to "live and learn"and today's music doesn't teach nothing but ignorance.

  • I worked with Dwight the drummer for 6 years from 2001 to 2007 and what a great guy. Alot of fun stories too about meeting 2pac etc. He does some producing now with local artists.

  • 1 person don't know how good old music is better than today's music

  • I was listening to SWV's Right Here.

And rememberd this one!! MY FAV of my childhood! I was a kid of 9 years old...

    CLASSIC

  • NEW JACK SWING!!!! DAMN I'M GLAD I FOUND THIS!!!!

  • Nice song!

  • What you talking about Willis! There's great music today, you got Miley Cirus, Taylor Swift, and Justin Beiber. How can that be bad? Just kidding, miss old skool days! :-)

  • Is this group still around?

  • THE JAM!!!!!!!!!!

  • You gota live and learn!

  • @dddvjr lol

  • This was when you danced in the club.

  • This Music Video Reminds Me Of The Novel Based Movie Holes

  • It Sucks That Every Year Thousands of People in the United States Died, Because This Song is So Underrated. Miss You Joe Public

  • @JSpivey01Ah but dont forget that real music also existed before the 80's. Im thinking 50's, 60's and 70's too.

  • @JSpivey01 Long live that time!

  • Holy CRAP! A song with guys that had a genuine voice, message, stage presence and talent? I didn't think the music industry turned out groups like this anymore. Oh yeah, they DON'T!

I'll take Joe Public over anything Akon or any other "R&B artist" out there these days. Ah, the old school. May it forver rest in peace. It is sorely missed because the new school killed it off. Damn you Akon. Damn you T-Payne. Damn you all.

  • See now this is KICK ASS MUSIC

not like this shitty rap today

Comedy Gold on the bus ride.

  • wow i was 12 yrs old when this song came out. they use to play this on video music box on channel 31.

  • The 80's and 90's was a period of great music. An era that cracked out songs from talented people taking the time to make sense, and send a message. This song brings me back to my first real job after college, but I never saw the video till now. Thanks for the post.

  • oh my god!!!!! ive not heard this in years!!!!!!!!!! memories!!!!hahahahahahaha

  • @xtasee Nobody gives a fuck that you graduated class of 92, thats the past bro. We lookin toward the future. I like this song though.

  • @SantaBadd ummmm you make no sense @ all...I am not surprised though...lol

  • @SantaBadd YOU were the one who tried to insult xtasee first and unlike YOUR graduating class, most of his actually HAD CLASS unlike your stupid generation that worships imbecilic material worn by Soulja Boy

  • @PopCulture20 First off who the fuck is Soulja Boy? And you must like him if you know his name. Why the hell would I listen to him when I'm working toward a "College Degree." That right there is all the material I need you feel me. It will allow me to take jobs away from you old muthafuckas. Did you even bother to look on my favorites before writing this silly ass comment. Also my generation mostly listens to J. Cole, Jay Electronica, and Drake. Don't let BET fool you bitch.

  • @SantaBadd You just named all R&B artists that get promoted through BET MORON unless you think Drake isn't ''black enough'' for you.

  • @SantaBadd you do realize your name is santabadd right? lol

  • aaaahhhhhh shit its da throw back!!!!!!!

  • I forgot allll about this song til I heard it in the grocery store yesterday. One of my favorite songs in the 5th grade...

  • one of the GREATEST hits of the 90s!!!......one of the greatest one hit wonders of the 90s....or ever........the first two weeks of June of 1992 is when "Live and Learn" peaked at #2 on the pop charts(wow!has it really been 18 years already?)

  • wow was that actually a full group of real artists who are able to actually play instuments or just some more music video junk?

  • @Niche79 No they each played their own instruments, and sanged vocals. But i see your point, I havnt seen anythign this real in a long time.

  • this song is going to be my RINGTONE and this is NOT A SPAM so please don't think I'm a fake lol
