i recently bought a skateboard (and i love it), bit im having some trouble. I usually wear vans when i skate, and they have checkered rubber where you slide your foot, and because its a new board the grip tape is strong. But because of the grippy shoe and the strong tape i cant slide my foot. is there a way for me to smooth out the grip tape? or am i just bad at skating and the grip tape has nothing to do with it?
