To me it seemed the new one was a little closer to the mirage comics with better plots minus fastfoward and I admit the old one had good action scenes in the first two episodes but then it turned to comedy and the villians just got cheesy.

I watched the old show back in the day and I gotta admit I like the new series over the old one. I manged to read the mirage turtle comic and it's really good. The only thing I didn't like about both series is fastfoward in the new show and the fact that shreddar was removed from the last seasons of the show and the whole second mutation in the old series.

Much as I like this crossover movie, they made the 80's Turtles way too goofy.

In the scene where Hun is talking to the captive 80's Turtles, they shouldn't be gibbering like idiots. Even if it was in the old cartoon, at the very least Leonardo would be seriously thinking of a way out instead of joking around like a kindergartener on a sugar-rush. The noogies, goofing around on the rooftop, the slow uptake in realizing they're on a parallel Earth...all wrong.

It was funny at first but then they got annoying and i don't like the old Leos voice. Its way to deep. :( i know they could have did a lot better making this like the other movie.

God the 1980s and 90s turtles were so much cooler then these newer ones.

Back then, Raph was hillariouse. Now they made him too dark and mad all the time. Donny used to be such a cool nerd. Now he is way too seriouse. Mikey used to act like the stoner of the group all of the time. Now they just made him sound like a Cali surfer kid. They didnt change Leo much but I still prefer the older version.

I know the original comics were dark and violent, but the old turtles were just awesome.

@Margui622 The ghosts, of course. Original Pac Man game was released in 1980. Turtles came later (1984 if I'm not mistaken) and in the beginning they all wore red bandannas. Multicolored bandannas were introduced for the purposes of the original cartoon, so that the kids could distinguish turtles from one another. Nevertheless, by this time, turtles personalities were already well established. Raphael's violent nature, however, was drastically toned down for the standards of young viewers.
