@hotpotato44 WHOA! Loving gay parents are hell bound, and John McCain is apparently a Christian! A true Christian doesn't want a child to be raised in a hell hole!
they lie without blinking too many times... mr obama is also a muslim, also non-religious. but that's because he is everything to the world, he is the messiah!
we should leave the question of whether or not Obama is Christian or about anyone else we should leave it up to God to work in there lives and to use us when appropiate to many people are judgmental we need to pray more for one another
@joel10000a I support rights for all. That being said, the term "gay rights" for the most part has nothing to do with rights and the term is used so that if you are against any of the things that fall under that category, you appear to be against human rights. It's a part of categorizing and othering. Marriage is a tradition (with specificity on number and gender) RECOGNIZED by the government. Traditions should not be REGULATED by the government and therefore should not be deemed "rights".
@saltyfrye Exactly what are you saying you support? Gays have NO rights in my opinion! Why should open sinners have special "rights"? Why don't we just do away with all marriage rights, and let anyone marry who they want with as many spouses as they want? This kinds of "rights" will destroy our society - AND SO WILL GAY RIGHTS! No society since the beginning has EVER survived after opening it's doors to gays! Go check it out in history! God won't put up with it, and will destroy that society!
@joel10000a part 1) I apologize for not making my statement clear. My point was people who use the term "gay rights" specifically use the word "right" in order to make those who are against things that have been put under the category of "gay rights" (such as gay marriage, adoption, etc.) look like ignorant supremacists who must be against human rights. My point was that marriage was never a right. A long time ago the government decided to recognize the tradition of 1 man and 1 women uniting...
@joel10000a in a thing called marriage. The government RECOGNIZED this. It is the role of the government to RECOGNIZE not REGULATE traditions (China regulates and tells you what your traditions are). A gay union, which is not a marriage since marriage is defined as 1 man and 1 woman (semantics I know, but semantics are crucial in law and in the government), from a strictly legal perspective should only be considered a tradition if the majority of the people, not politicians, say it is. That...
@joel10000a part 3) being said, traditions are not rights and therefore "gay marriage" is not a right. That is my legal perspective...from a Biblical point of view what makes marriage sacred is the covenant a man and a woman makes with God and has nothing to do with the government; marriage is no longer sacred in this country anymore. And I agree, sexual immorality is the last signs of destruction for a society. I believe in the Bible like you do.
@saltyfrye I should have said "gay movement", rather than "gay rights". In other words, I don't see how anyone can clam to be a true Christian, with a straight face, and be in favor of the gay lifestyle or gay movement, or whatever you want to call it, increasing in popularity and visibility in our society!
@joel10000a I can see why. They would rather be liked by people than stand up for the Bible. We live in a day and age where anyone who believes in the Bible is supposedly an uneducated Bible thumper who clings to his guns and his religion (another tactic of othering). Anyone who calls himself a Bible believer must accept that the Bible says acts of homosexuality (not the desire/temptation itself) are Biblically wrong.
@saltyfrye In other words people who believe in those things can't be Born Again, even they might call themselves Christian. Many people call themselves Christian, but they are no more Born Again, than the man in the moon is. Jesus said, right in the Bible that unless a person becomes Born Again, he CANNOT see the Kingdom of God. Yes Jesus did say exactly "Born Again".
If you go to Obama's web sight you can see that he has been supported by scientology donations. If you want to beleive the number it says you can but in honesty I don't. Use it as key word and you see. It explains his ties with Oprah. LOL His thoughts on God is not Christian or Christ.
Regardless of what you say, the Bible says you are following the devil, whether you know it or not, and you will follow him right into hell. It says if a person is not serving God, and His Son Jesus, he is serving the devil.
Some people who are atheist may have not been before and didn't have a strong relationship with the lord and some are just but don't worship God or a god. know wut im saying?
We need change and ppl who are not afraid to stand up to Corruption....
Look up Obamas he hangs with Kilpatrick(mayor of detroit crook) and look at his preacher...he speaks Anti White and Anti Amercia and also DAMS america and Obamas attends this chruch????
One of the largest contributing factors in our revolt against Britain was their leaders forcing religious beliefs onto us, and now you want to vote for a candidate that is trying to bring religion back into law?!?! That is one of the biggest freedoms the founding fathers were trying to protect, keeping church and state separate! Now you want to regulate people of all religions in this country according to your beliefs?!!?! What the heck is your problem you crazy person!!
I believe the founding fathers wanted the country free to worship the God of the Bible, in the ways they wanted to worship Him! NOT to bring in idol worship and every heathen and pagan type of worship under the sun. That's what I think. Many of them recognized that the God of the Bible is the one and only true God, and to go against him will bring downfall to the nation, and that's exactly what is happening NOW!!! God is bringing judgment against the USA, because of our departure from the Bible!
Mark my words! The situation in the USA is going to get worse, not better, unless we, as a people turn back to the God of the Bible, and to his Son Jesus Christ. I personally don't think that is going to happen, because you can't identify the USA anywhere in Bible prophesy about the last days. And I do believe we are in the very last of the last days before Jesus comes back!
If you are aware that you are not right with God, message me and ask me how to get right with Him, before it's too late!
I will mark your words... and if you are right, Ill come back here and apologize to you. The thing, though, is that you arent right. If Obama becomes president it will get better. Worse under McCain. Bush thinks that he speaks with god, and look where thats gotten us! A recession, wars we dont want to be in, and nobody did jack squat about the natural disasters of late!
You don't get my point! It probably doesn't matter who get in office, between the two of them. God IS going to judge the USA for our departure from the Bible, unless we, as a people, in general return to God and to the teachings in the Bible.
I am aware that I am not right with god because I am an atheist. I have no plans to get right with god. but i will say, and i mean this from the bottom of my heart, thanks for the gesture. Truly. I dont agree with your beliefs but offering to take time out of your day to save me is a gesture that shouldnt go unnoticed or ridiculed. We are both Americans and we are both humans, and that should be enough. Have a nice life.
Also, I notice that you have comments set for you to approve them first. I would also like to thank you for allowing my comments through despite them conflicting with your viewpoints. Thanks!
The reason I accept them or reject them, is because the Kingdom of God is just that, a Kingdom, and NOT a democracy. Anything that appears on any of my postings, that is contrary to the Word of God, will not get approved, unless I feel it is worthwhile to reply so I can point our the Biblical side.
Sorry, but I have to wonder why you would put even a mild cuss, curse, or swear word into a public comment which goes around the world. NOT a good Christian witness, I am sorry to say.
I doubt very seriously that Obama is a truly Born Again Christian. John McCain? I don't have a good take yet, but in my opinion we are dead in the water with Obama!!!
They're both quite un-Christian. Obama is acting very liberal on specific issues such as abortion and secularism, however he is Christian on the major topics such as tax revenues, social care, environmentalism, wars etc.
Politics are always about balance. If I was a citizen of the USA, I would probably go for Obama, however I acknowledge that the both candidates are politicians, not Christians.
It may be the difference between the fall or not fall of the USA, during this next administration! Wouldn't you rather have someone in the White House who knows how to receive help from God??? The shape the US is in now, we sure need God's help, possibly more than ever before in our history!!!
think Jesus is coming back REALLY REALLY SOON, and the US is nowhere to be found in Bible Prophecy about the end times!
If you are not ready to meet Jesus, and you definitely don't want to get left behind, and have to go through the Great Tribulation, and the reign of the antichrist, message me and ask me how you can be set right with God so that you will be taken away in the rapture!
Hopefully without offense I must say that was one of the scariest statements I have ever read. You believe that the future of this country rests in gods hands and you will vote accordingly? I really hope not.
Now that thats off my back, I have a question for you: as an apparently religious person, what do you think of the differences in McCain and Obama? How are people with similar beliefs to you gonna vote as far as you can tell? Message me if the 500 character commenting limit is not enough.
McCain has my vote. Obama is just plain for too many things that the Bible is against. Abortion, gay rights, to name a couple. How a person can claim to be a Christian and support just those two things is beyond me. He is just plain deceived or he is lying about being a Christian.
Hey Joel, I am Christian and I agree Jesus is coming SOON :D
Us Christians have persecution, yet we are strengthen by it! The Rebellion has happened, there are just a few more prophecies to go, how can muslims sit back and say that the Bible is wrong?
