  • Those Shitaki's are so beautiful, not to mention how friggin awsome ur grow tent/sport is. IT looks like a decorative garden, but it also puts out some of the best looking mushrooms in all of youtube.

  • Shittake mushrooms are delicious. They are quite expensive thou in Singapore & my family only uses them occasionally, especially in Chinese New Year seafood steamboat. Yum!!!

  • hey i was wondering if the logs need to be kept off the ground or not. to keep them from rotting.

  • I think you could if you kept them out of the sun and moist.

  • Typically you want burr oak logs, white oak or red oak will do. Not to large, 3-4 inch is best from a young tree cut them in the spring before bud break.
