This game had a great story, but the controls were bad and unresponive. Lara starts moving 2 seconds after you push the analog stick and she has a hard time going in the direction you want her too. The new games are too easy but at least the controls work and the puzzles are logical.

-I personally was so excited to see how Lara made it out of that pyramid in Egypt (ending of 5) , but they just wouldn't reveal what happened .

-the story of sucks so bad , and the whole atmosphere of the game is boring as fuck !

- ost is good but the cinematics sucks and the entities are worst !

-Graphics are ok for a 2003 game but the control is a disaster ,

I would enjoy it if it wasn't TR !

-First,it was ending of fourth.But CORE was on a time clock,opressed by EIDOS to make the game in seconds.(TR 1-5 all made in 5 years)No time for explanations.

-The story had the mystery aspect.Some people enjoyed it,others didn't.Its just opinions and I cant say anything.

-The cinematics were the best that could be made at that time while most games still had the polygons.

-The controls could be changed at any time through the options tab.

@MrDanterockstar First,I did not argue.I just want to hear other people opinions.But still,they revealed she was alive and would give further details at angel of arkness 2.But this never came out.As for the flexibility,she had more than in the previous games.Maybe she was a bit slower but her new moves were great and IMO so were the places you could do them.Also,it had some nice hard puzzles unlike the new games were the puzzles are easy and ridiculus.(e.g. Crate puzzle at Legend)

Now I think about it, on the DVD to the Tomb Raider movie, the guy in charge of Core Design said he was considering that Lara would soon find a love interest but because of a majority of people didn't like the game and Core got scrapped, the idea is now probably lost forever

i personal give tomb rider angel of darkness a rate of 6/10 because the game controls are afoul, the story line is OK but the voice acting sucks like in "just cause 2" the graphics were pathetic even in cut scene's it didn't challenge me while fighting, and shooting because of the automatic aiming system my rate 6/10

Aw man...Do you know how long it took me to beat this game. I was passing to the level like flying colors until I got to the musuem. I got pissed off so much I could find where to go so I threw my controller at the Tv and left the game for about 2 months. I came back confident and finally beat it. Then I got stuck again and stop playin for 4 months lol. I finally caught up to fighting that huge bug thing and got stuck at it for about a 10 days. Im a horribble player xD. All in all- FRUSTRATING.

This game was amazing unfortunately it suffered from some major flaws. The learning curve was pretty steep for those who have never played tomb raider before, along with the phenomenal rate at which difficulty of the puzzles increased. Also at times during the game, there was absolutely no clear sense of direction, leaving you to wander hopelessly. Don't get me wrong, I love this game. I love tomb raider. What I am saying is that this game is not for everyone.
