It's pretty clear that the authorities are involved. Whether directly or indirectly who knows. Someone or something is covering for whoever is involved, whether it is the cartel,business owners,politicians,the police (people of wealth and power) who knows. You have to see the movie Bordertown, it's a movie with Jennifer Lopez and Antonio Banderas. It's a story about a girl in Juarez who's been raped and almost murdered but she escaped, it's the true story about this city. An amazing movie you just have to see. I hope if people see this movie they will help these poor women and girls and help the government convince that this is absolutely wrong. My prayers go to the victims and the family and friends of the victims

The police should prevent these crimes by investigating the crimes sooner rather than later to obtain strong evidence. Why the govenment is not interested to find the murderers? You have to see the movie Bordertown, it's a movie with Jennifer Lopez and Antonio Banderas. It's a story about a girl in Juarez who's been raped and almost murdered but she escaped, it's the true story about this city. An amazing movie you just have to see. I hope if people see this movie they will help these poor women and girls and help the government convince that this is absolutely wrong. My prayers go to the victims and the family and friends of the victims

First of all, don't say that Mexico, the country is "shit". The corruption, violence of the police, government and drig cartels are what make it such a dangerous place to live at the moment. The reason you don't hear as much about the femicide is due largely to the hellatious war being waged between the drug cartels and the feds. Everyday innocent people including infants are caught in the crossfire that claims fifteen to twenty lives from Juarez down to San Nacho but it wasn't until the US Consulate incidents that Washington started paying attention. its shame that these young women lost their lives and the crime investigators doing nothing about it. I reckon a protection for women more important than investigating the past crimes. The police should prevent these crimes by investigating the crimes sooner rather than later to obtain strong evidence. Why the govenment is not interested to find the murderers? Tax payers should protest against that.

Ï did a intense investigation in this topic, through the research I found the causes, who the victims were, the convicted population/the blamed, etc.. but all in all....Figured that we all have to take action to change these situations for women! Its a gender issue. Now everyone think about what you can do to help others, instead of criticizing and making the problem bigger..

Maybe if they set up a police sting like get a innocent girl walking down the streets and see if anyone tries to kill her. It would be really easy to do but the police in Mexico don't give a crap. Glad i don't live in that country but i feel sorry for the women. Its obvious that men are responsible for all the violence.
