  • Veronica Lake was so beautiful and talent. However because of her beauty at the time was another actress Joan Caulfield a jealousy woman that made hollywood dropped Mrs. Lake and replaced her as a sexy blonde. I don't know now but hollywood in 1940's were a place of nasty and vicious woman that would do anything to be famous. Veronica Lake always will be a legend no matter what.

  • Veronica was born 1922 so make that 1922-1973

  • i once worked on a movie shot in veronica lake's house in the hollywood hills..very modern...i could just see her roaming around..it was built in the 30's..all white painted outside and very square, in shape...those houses are popular in los angeles

  • Beautiful.

  • They don't make them in Hollywood anymore like Veronica.

  • Nice tuoch!!! Jerry Goldsmith's trumpet from L.A. Conidential!

  • "You could put all the talent I had into your left eye and still not suffer from impaired vision." Veronica Lake.

    She was humble, too!

  • Veronica lake was said to have not only the most perfect hair, perfect legs, but also the most radiant, luminous skin in Hollywood. Jessica Rabbit, by the way, is based on Ms Lake. With high cheek-bones, a disarmingly beautiful smile, very few Hollywood starlets looked this poised, this majestic, as Veronica Lake. The scene in Sulliven's Travels, when Lake turns around in the Diner to serve the "hobo", is BEAUTY personified! Someone should post this up on a loop.

  • The most beautiful lady ever to grace a movie screen I think. yes she has "it"!

  • She was a FOX.

  • Great job. Given her tragic story, the melancholy "Chinatown" theme is a perfect accompaniment.

  • Great job morphing! What software did you use? I have had a couple different morphing software and not happy with results.

  • beuatiful video with a beautiful song from a wonderful movie.

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  • We all LuV her so much!

  • congratulations video Classic Hollywood-Veronica Lake

  • Hey stupid, Veronica Lake was born in 1922.

  • She should never have cut her hair for the war effort. It ruined her image and with it, her career.

  • More sulky than a 'brat' - it's a great look ;-)

  • She looks nice but she looks like a princess, a brat.

  • A short life because of alcohol!

  • Some women just have 'it' - that something indefinable which makes you forget your own name.

    Veronical Lake had 'it'.

  • Wow what a great job of blending! well done.

  • wow what a beautiful lady pure class, they dont make them like that anymore.

  • She was foxy.

  • Super job on the morphs!

  • good !!!

  • I've always loved that hair;-)

  • Great montage, the Chinatown theme really captures the old Hollywood ambiance and style. If you close your eyes and listen, you can imagine 1930's Hollywood

  • She was so beautiful - even trying to play a "boy" in "Sullivan's Travels". Great video!

  • Lyrics are from "Chinatown" starring Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway.

  • Well done Max...

  • such a concentrate of charm in so few centimetres!

  • OMG !!

This made me cry because she was so talented and yu hate to hear how tragic their life ended..but wow she is sooo gorgeous and by far rocked the hottest hairstyle :D

  • I love Veronica :)

  • Since I'm a Veronica Lake admirer, been watching most here on youtube. This is a cool tribute way it was done! Thanks!

  • WONDERFUL,thank you Max for that creativity. You should do one for JESSICA RABBIT.

  • The music is great - just suits the pics of Veronica you chose.

  • Dear Max, Beautiful!

  • I am a huge movie buff but dont know much about V.L. and am now watching her movies and learning about her.....What a life she had....RIP

    Thank you for posting...

  • Great video!! She was absolutely beautiful!!

  • cool effects!

  • with the Chinatown music. Nice. I just love her hair so much. She had the coolest female hairstyle ever to me

  • Beautiful job done on the video. Actually, Veronia was born in 1922 and not 1919. Her mother added on 3 years to her age so that she could get work in Hollywood, because she was a minor.

She is listed on the 1930 Census for New York City as being 7 years old under her real name Constance Marie Ockelman.

  • Sort of a cool, laid back, sensual gaze, tinged with an impish & bemused intelligence. She knows............ What a beautiful woman!

  • Miss Lake was truly one of the most beautiful and talented women in Hollyweird history!! Only comparison might be Carol Lombard--certainly NO ONE today!! Tragic ending for both of these stunning queens!! Nice work--as usual, regards, Gary

  • I can't Thank You enough for this ( DON'T LIKE

TO USE THE WORD GREAT ) .....but nevertheless

it's GREAT. I've had a thing for VERONICA LAKE

for over 50 years now...and how amazing it was

to have you back it up ....with that haunting

and beautiful theme from "CHINATOWN". ( November '07)

  • ...and she died so young with a bad disease. what a sad ending to this beauty. :(

  • All your videos are fantastic! I've subscribed to your channel I look forward to more of your great artwork production.

  • The song went so beautifuly with the video... truly amazing... thank you!
