  • NEXT CANNIBLE CORPSE!!!

  • @jimlead you say that it's bad to separate people into camps but you do that repeatedly. Christians vs non-christians, iconoclasts vs idolators, Catholics vs Protestants. Perhaps a more thorough inspection of your logic is in order. Also no catholic worships the pope, or saints or Mary for that matter.

  • What do you think of his breathing pattern(s) with respect to the phrases comprising the chant? (It seems a bit out of rhythm|flow)

  • god is in you

  • lyrics please

  • Train by day, Joe Rogan podcast by night, all day!

  • Where are the lyrics for this? I can mimic his voice!

  • joe rogan brought me here

  • Humans are pitiful. They can't except anything. They are made of flesh and they are mortals. Like poor ants who think that they can conquer the world. Because there is no higher might than GOD's might. And his powerful word JESUS CHRIST, the eternal saviour!

  • @Jimlead

How is this relevant to the video in any way, shape or form?

  • @Brahmavadin The relation whith this video is that the sutras, mantras, mudras, meditation techniques is just dust in the wind compared to the glory of the Lord! I know I sound simple and stupid to you but this is all about God. Human knowledge can't be compared to the true light. It helps but only for a minute. The Lord gives salvation of the soul. God bless your soul my brother!

  • @Jimlead

No. You don't sound as simple and stupid to me as you might think. The specific context of God's "name" and the terms of the Creator's relationship with we as humans is likely the only major difference between us. Everything else is trivial at best.

  • @Brahmavadin I believe in God. God is the same for everyone. Every human being has right in his kingdom. From the lepper to the king. The Lord Jesus Christ is our salvation. The one true light. The Word. I pray for your soul.

  • @Jimlead

And I shall pray for your mind.

  • @Brahmavadin I was 100% that you were going to say that I am stupid or crazy. Believe me my friend, for years I was a Buddhist. I did almost everything it takes to respect its way. I was meditating everyday. I was reading tons of books. Everyone was admiring me. But one day I realized that all this was erroneous. A simple thing made me realize that I had become an evil man. All this "knowledge" was gone with the wind since I repented. I descovered that this was human logic knowledge.

  • @Jimlead

I was not lead to the place I am now by meditating every day and reading books written by the Dalai Lama. I never said that I was a Buddhist; I follow a far older "religion", but my personal path and my personal relationship with what you understand as God is just that: Personal. I'm not interested in converting and I've heard everything there is to be said from those who would convert. Knowledge is not my religion; it is but one of many tools I use for self-realization.

  • @Brahmavadin Hinduism is indeed an ancient religion. But I didn't talked about religion, since the Christ never said so. Religion is what sepparates people and put the into camps. All men are equal in the kingdom of heaven. To me it is best to give all the recognition to the creator instead of the creature. It is everyone's right to believe whatever he/she wants. God gives the choice and the freedom. Have a nice day my friend.

  • @Jimlead jajajaja a pitiful human , jajajaj GOD ! jajajaja, an imaginare mistic friend of yours ? jajajaja, pathetic

  • @Dimencorpse GOD is the one who has no shape nor face. He cannot fit in temples nor statues made of bronze or wood. He cannot be reached nor be immitated. He is unique and true. And no human knowledge/logic can explain him. You can laugh but this is the only thruth that burns all the others. Have a nice day there.

  • @Jimlead shape and face are things that we caption whit our senses anyway, its how human interact with the "reality" , but the truth is, nothing is what we believe, even you and me, we are individual energy conected whit everything, with your "god", then, we are the god essence, we are god, we are humans, we are nothing ,we have no shape and face too, i agree, the logic cant explain it all, only wisdom can,. thanks, have a nice day too catolic friend :)

  • @Dimencorpse My GOD is our GOD. Since we are all the children of the same father my brother. Love and eternal peace are the characteristic of GOD. True freedom and salvation. Our ego is the source of all evil, just like the idea that we are above others. May the Lord bless your heart my friend. I am not a catholic. I am a Christian. I donnot worship humans (like the pope). Anyway, I wish you all the best!

  • @Jimlead that be ideal, but, i think that you have a very limitated concept of god, in my opinion the will bringher of life "called god" , its all , not only love and eternal peace, it is war too, its hate, its all things and feelings too, because its conected with everything, and good and evil are just a human point of view, an empty idea indeed pleasure, pain, happyness and hate , are the same, are feeling, the illusion of separation is what we see, think, "all is empty"

  • @Dimencorpse what you say is true . the rub is : to stay in constant union . that is by no means an easy task.

  • @Dimencorpse How would you describe GOD since he is everything ? But his true power is love, because he is a loving GOD. The holiest energy on earth is love. And this is what his own son Jesus Chrsit came to bring on earth, love. (I tell you all that because I was a Buddhist before, and a new age follower, when I realized that all this was just dust in the wind).

  • why is he doing this pointless and ridiculous thing?

  • @antyszwed , can you prove that is pointless ? , ridiculous its everything, everyone, and nothing

  • @Dimencorpse I can't prove nothing, you've got the point:)

  • @antyszwed well it beats killing people.

  • @antyszwed Dear antyszwed, the answer is in the chant itself. May I humbly suggest sinking into the sound, just sink, not knowing and be blessed.

  • OMG. Im a meditating newbie and i wanted to see if someone could refer me to a chant like this with 100 people!

  • when we deep voice chant we are trying to following the pattern of overtones that follow the deep chant , if you hear in the background you can hear whipping sounds with rhythmic patterns, this is what i follow when i chant and this is what is so enchanting to me plus i love the sound of deep vocals but the addiction to it also lies in the overtones and the patterns created from them, tibetin chakra suttra chant from wongraven559 for more deep singing:)

  • Unknown everybody! A giant elephant that saw things like I do.

  • I would like to invite a giant elephant! He would be to me someone that was profitable to the whole atmosphere.

  • oh mani padme hum, if you say this 1000 times every day, your fine :)

  • Wish they had Closed Captions

  • Why do they use this singing tecnicque ? Deep voice ? WHy ?

  • @aFemale1 this singing tecnicque, "deep voice", as you write, produce brain waves risonance that have direct effect on theyr mental state during the meditation. It's also used in hypnosis to induct the trance.

    Sorry for my bad english

  • @FreshB16 Your english is ok. Nice hello from Europe

  • I wish, I had a teacher at times. ( just a bull shiters)

  • wow he is really good at it, love it:)

  • Ez annyira de annyira de annyira FANTASZTIKUS!

  • Om homage to the the Buddha, homage to the Sangha, homage to the Dharma most excellent!

  • Lol. Hate to set a weird mood, but why does everybody feel the need to relate this to philosophy, or quantum vibrational this and that, or "secret techniques" for the Buddhist powers, or any more such stuff? Can we please listen to the chant? Youtube has this habit of destroying stuff by users over-explaining stuff to people that don't need to know. If they wanted to know, they could read the thousands of books out there on Buddhism and physics and esoteric hoo-rah rah. Stop the pseudo-analysis!

  • oh what does he say^^shala ola bula mana baoo umdibi bu ...?

  • Thanks!

  • como saca esa voz ? o.O

  • TAYATA OM GATE GATE PARAGATE PARASAMGATE BODHI SOHA

  • I'm just learning Buddhism and I'm embarrassed to admit I never knew this was just human chanting - I thought it was accompanied by a musical instrument. How does he do this and why? Please pardon my ignorance. I just think Buddhism is the best thing that ever happened to me.

  • @willoughbyandalexis It's a meditative mantra technique called "throat singing." It's not something easily done. Monks practice this their whole life. I'm not sure of much more than that, so perhaps Google can help us out. ^_^ Namaste

  • @willoughbyandalexis . The Throat chanting is mostly done by the chief chant master, not necessarily by every monk. In a monastery hall, where thousands of monks gather to chant and pray together, without mikes and sound systems available during those days in Tibet, the chant master's throat chanting could have far better reaching (i.e amplify) to all the monks in the hall. the second reason could be the energy the throat chant generates in one's body. But this is only assumption from my part!

  • @donmopick98 Throat singing creates a very calm feeling, so that would be my guess.

  • He is Geshe Lharampa i.e Doctorate in philosophy. He is well versed in Sutras,Vajrayana and Dialectics. On top of that he has under gone vocal practice to be Umze or chant master. So this deep Cosmic sound is product of years of training. He deserves some respect. TATYATHA GATE GATE PARA GATE PARA SAM GATE BODHI SWA HA

  • I love it, I learned so much from Tibet. Free Tibet now!!

  • gutturals

  • play a Tibetan monk chant at the same time with iron man by black sabbath=)

  • @snrub92 They did that on Bob and Tom

  • Great! Great! Great! That is so good that I can appreciate!

  • there are mornings where my voice actually sounds like that....

  • @gasplut lol to tat

  • Where can I get a really good meditation album with stuff that sounds like this?

  • @Jeffersonwazright Google 'Big Om of Tibet'

  • yes and fuckmania is a traditional christian name.

  • wtf !

  • Wow! That must have been hard to shoot!

  • This is great. We don't suffer because God wants us to suffer - it's our emotions attached to the act which cause the suffering to manifest. Teachings of Buddha are to eliminate all sufferring.

Listening to chants purifies one's mind & the environment. Want to feel Buddhism feel free to visit reikihealing.co.in

  • *0*

  • Thanks simonsnell2010 but that's not what I mean. The translation abounds, and truly is beautiful. But I do not know the language in which he is vocalizing. While I have found several places with the English/Romanic syllabic pronunciation of some of the different cultures' translations, I cannot seem to identify any of them as being what he's saying. In order to chant with him, I must know the words he's using and I haven't found that. Oh well, perhaps I must simply chant in another way.

  • to jdupont09 type in heart sutra english and you will find the heart sutra. It is an ancient text. It is one of the base texts of buddhism. It is worth reading.

  • This is an amazing vocalization. I wish to learn to do this - where may I find a Romanized transliteration of what he's chanting?

  • Awesome just awesome...

  • @dandan688 I don't want to sound tough... but... hey... e-preaching?... c'mon...

  • @dandan688 If god really loved us wouldn't let childrens die of sicknesses. There is only cause and effect.

  • @AnnamariaLakme sickness??what does that mean???that s just a name we give to the body s desintegration!nothing more nothing less!!sickness suffering happiness are just names and THESE NAMES are the thing that makes us suffer!

  • @dandan688 And if you read Leviticus, if you have a tattoo or wear clothes of more than one fiber or eat shellfish or plant a field with more than one seed you shall be stoned, you are an Abomination to the Lord. Christ abolished this. And did he not say there are those that belong to Him that are not of His flock? In My Father's House there are many mansions? When you see LOVE & kindness & respect for others, especially those in different cultures, then you see God. May God bless you.

  • @fuckmania07 -sigh- dude..serously stop trolling... this is the second video ive seen with you saying something like "believe in the one lord jesus christ, or burn for eternity. blah blah blah etc etc." i doubt someone is going to change their life long beliefs from some faggot spouting shit on youtube. i swear to god (WOOPS), your occupation is :Jehovah Witness.

  • @itachiwalksalone whats the timing on the video where you catch him say that?

  • @acidfriend47 i dont want to start an argument, but who said what? my comment had nothing to do with the video.

  • @itachiwalksalone Oooh i'm sorry, I thought you were talking about the video until now. Just saw there was a comment above that got flagged and i opened it and notice you were talking about him. Well I hope you stopped him writing stupid comments like that : ) Have a nice day

  • @acidfriend47 ah common mistake no problem :P

  • I don't believe in any of this stuff but I love listening to vocal music of all types. I'd consider this part of that :) Chanting, sure but its almost like hypnotic music when you shut off your brain and just listen :D

  • chanting frog

  • what the fug is this guy doing? he sounds like a dijirado or however its spelled.

  • @ZachCannon

    Please conceal your ignorance.

  • @JFisherUSMC Please conceal your insufferable need to belittle folk on the tubes who don't know how the mechanics of throat singing work

  • is there a place I can get english approximations of these chants? I have recently learned to do this and would love to know some real chants.

  • That sounds extremely difficult to do. You have to pretty much be able to seperate your vocal chords to do that, correct?

  • @artc667 Its actually very easy when you get it. Go to google and type in "crash course khoomie". Should get you there pretty quick. Helps to have a guitar or piano handy. Any instrument that can hold a note by itself. Good luck!

  • Many blessings!!!

  • Nice beatbox bro!

  • It feels so good listening to this. Imagine how good it feels to sing it, the strength of the vibration resonating within and through you so powerfully.

  • Heart Sutra is supreme Dharma of Lord Buddha. Your recitation is like lions roar which will dispel and subdue all evil thoughts and actions in every day live. Very powerful voice. Thank you

  • what phrase is being chanted?

  • @CubistKing1906

the phrase itself is less important than the frequency, it is scientifically proven that the vibration of the chant cures many illnesses in the body including cancer, by way of rearranging the afflicted cells to be more receptive to treatment. see the mayo clinic and noetic science institute

  • LMFAO!!!!

  • That resonance is absurd !!!

    wow...

  • i do that most on the toilett ^^ lol and with the hope all is fine XD

  • top top!

  • so amazing. Thank you for posting it.

  • The style is the sanskrit version of the heart sutra, it is one of the main text in mahayana buddhism. It is also song in Chinese. It teaches about empty essence of of all things. Everything excists, but has no self or it's own nature. That is the essence of buddhism.

So to awnser your question; who does it? This monk will probably awnser; no one does it.

  • What style is this deep, droning chant and who does it? I had some long ago on tape and it was so cool, so I'm looking for more of it. It was a group of people doing it. Anyone know about this?

  • @TheMrBlinx It's called throat singing, and there are multiple styles, particularly done in Tibet and Mongolia.

  • Thank u for showing us ur chants I love u I'm sorry people are saying bad things they do not understand

  • Ignorance.. the illusion of knowing everything.

  • 33 people squeal like girls!

  • Our brains Function from frequency response. Useing certain frequencies while harmonizing with others will infact excercise the brain. Opening up closed off, dormant parts of the brain. Look up Binaural beats. Expand your experience.

  • i'm listening to this while studying for my finals... very conducive to work!

  • hahahahahahahaha

  • Thank you Sabbe satta sukhi hontu

  • hello, i have just started into buddhism not to long ago maybe a year, i love, and respect this religion more then anything, so may i ask why this chanting is so low?

  • @poypoypoyp old tibetan tradition. this is the way the tibetian monks recite this text

  • @poypoypoyp hello, I'll try to offer some explanation according to my understanding. Buddhist chanting is a form of exersize to produce a specific sound, which when achieved induces a certain inner state. This sound has several notes (which are also frequencies) with a precise relationship between them, a precise harmonic chored. This sound can span several octaves with overtones all of them produced by one voice or musical instrument.

See Azok sceen in "Meetings With Remarkable men"

  • @trespire Whilst chanting " the diamoku of the lotus sutra " ( which was next to a plant pot on a stand ) the vibrations used to hit the side of the plant pot making a pinging sound ... also i have noticed certain background noises when chanting with others ( celestial flutes or pipes of some description ) my freind ( at a different time , but when i was there ) heard the same thing. I know that sounds crazy and i have no explanation it's just something that happened to me .

  • @1Gsxrider: My guess would be that those sounds you heard are the overtones/harmonics. It's a feature, not a bug... ;-)

  • @Ripp0r I thought it might be all the buddhas and boddhisatva's rejoicing with music and dance at the diamoku of the lotus sutra ((( ;

  • thank you very much, this is wonderful, it helps me a lot. Be this chant bring peace all over.

  • thank you very much this is wonderful, it helps me a lot.

  • respect to this man. I know some basics but I only produce sounds similar to sirens

  • Good attempt, though I'm not sure mr chanter is very good, from my experience, chanting is supposed to be done via circular breathing, so the pauses don't happen.

also he looks quite knackered by the end

  • Love to see this guy play the didgeridoo!

  • @smutjunkie74 Sounds like this guy IS a didgeridoo!

  • roger that.

  • damnnnn! Awesome stufff! Must really hurt the throat to sing that low for so long!! Awesome stufffff~!!

  • AWESOME!

  • i turned the volume way up and i heard all the notes simultanelusly like i hadn't before. NOW I KNOW WHY PEOPLE SO ADMIRE THIS KIND OF CHANTING.

  • Blessings for this vibration im wishing love and light

    Namaste!

  • OMG FATAL FRAME

  • Thank you

  • BELLO !!!

  • namaste !

  • I don´t understand a word, but it´s beautiful and epic!

  • I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells, I honor the place in you which is of Love, of Integrity, of Wisdom and of Peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are One.

  • A sound full of peace and beautiful. Namaste!

  • wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Katch hit on vajra ma me muntsa! Thc shifu!

  • i recommend a tea spoon of Covonia. or at least a soother

  • Its like Sepultura without the music

  • @malkster99 lol

  • my daughter does this and she's 10 months, everyone scares the freaking out when she does this in public, I know why she does this...she's a incarnation of a previous Tibetan monk(I'm a Medium:) ), thank GOD...she's full of light...namaste! and thanks for this nice hearth mantra's, it feels good, thx holy monk for being so wise

  • @TheUnicorn13 That is trully awesome. But how do you know she is a reincarnation of a previous Tibetan monk?

  • @Jubeski How I know is simple, the spiritual world has told me once, that's it. Namastè my friend..

  • Comment removed

  • @Jubeski how do you know.. anything? the only reason people believe in logic or science is because there told its true, theres no real truth, everything is elusive. Stating 1 + 1 = a certain number, doesn't mean anything. Its just concept plus concept equals a concept we've implimented to thus hold accountably true most of the time, but ah.. how do you even know it is true most of the time? I'm not a part of this religion. But truth is untruth.

  • @aleclao127 The map is not the territory, an abstraction derived from something, or a reaction to it, is not the thing itself. I am that I am not blah blah blah.... focus on practical application. Repattern internal sensory processes, discuss means of doing this (plenty within the system of buddhism) freedom is a verb. In my humble opinion the perception of truth is soley based on human representational systems which infact are adopted for the most part illogically for the sake of survival

  • @afraid4myself a wise opinion friend. But why understand our fellow brothers "truth" is simply what you say, representational systems, and still follow it. Why not dig into what we are trying to express and represent instead. The "feel" which we can not perfectly describe, yet are doomed to try to. I'm not suggesting anything but to take in the world as unknown, when you do that, you do not assume, saving you from filling in questions with other peoples representations of that feel. Thus learn.
