i don't know the story with Carmen Kass, but for Natalia Vodianova, she went through intense learning period & mastered the language in 3 month. The story is probably little exaggerated, but Natalia was 15 years old & I know it's very hard to learn a new language at that age, yet she speaks beautiful English. It is amazing what passion and the power of pursuit of happiness could accomplish. If you have the desire and a purpose I believe you can achieve anything. These models proved that for me.
