This is the BEST Game EVER, when bf got to consoles, it just lost its morals, the console versions don't even have commander assets. Not that 1942 did, but 1942 has people that know how to play. And (pardon my French) but consoles have dumb-fuck little brats that play "lone-wolf". Trust I play the modern bf on 360, but I've had a better bf experience on PC.

This intro also kinda looks like WW three. Firstly western tanks are rolling on middle east desert under counter fire while mighty fleets are there to aid them. Than inevitably, the eastern war birds are spotted over the cities of Europe. Than, we see an armada mobilized to defend Europe, meanwhile some cities are ruined under the threads of eastern tanks. West runs air strikes, while east tanks keep rolling. Landings and airdrops under eastern missile fire.Finally pacific forces are joined.

1942 is still the best Battlefield, it was way more complex than BF3. Just the variety of vehicles: Artillery, Fighters, Bombers and Torpedo Bombers, Battleships, Destroyers, Frigates and even Submarines that were all controllable. Thats what i am missing in the newer Battlefields.

@Travaillons they should've stayed with BF2's gun mechanics. BF3's gunplay is too similar to Call of duty. Bf2 and previous games, focused on huge maps with medium to long range combat where you actually needed to use single fire shots. + in BF3 you get shot at every 5 seconds. You never did in the originals :\ and in the originals more people fought for bases together and it was just epic. nobody does this anymore :[

@manoman12354 Hmm, I did wonder why they went with smaller maps in BF3, perhaps the frostbite 2 engine would put too much of a load onto the servers? Also, you do get shot at every 5 seconds on the smaller maps. I think Kharg Island and Firestorm (and Caspian) are fine.

@Promelair Actually, the Torpedo bombers here are Aichi D3A1 Vals equipped with torps. Don't know why they did that but it's still a cool game.
