  • Fuck of Sebastian,Kimi is coming back!

  • AYRTON SENNA NUMBER ONE THE BEST

  • Hyvä kimi!!

  • just stfu below.. THE MASTER HAS RETURNED, stop talking about some fucking alonso, I hate that crying bitch.

  • When I look in Kimi eyes,i see reflecton of Vodka bottle

  • The Iceman Cometh!!

  • Why is everybody arguing about why Kimi got kicked off Ferrari and all that? Seriously, what's the point? Just enjoy the fact that he's back.

  • @PhantomHourglassGuru The point is that he wasnt PAID OFF from the Ferrari because of his driving/results, but because Ferrari wanted Santander's sponsor money....That is something that every1 should know.

  • @Balnazzardi Yes, and everyone does know that. End of story.

  • @PhantomHourglassGuru Apparently not every1, that's what the argument was all about in the first place...

  • @Balnazzardi Even so, there's no real point in arguing, is there? Look at the results. You just get a lot of people angry, that's it. And please, I don't want to start an argument about arguments, so don't reply with some very stupid comment like the top liked ones. Wait, YOU posted those, didn't you?

As a side note, Alonso is a great driver, stop pretending he isn't. This is coming from a big Kimi fan.

  • @PhantomHourglassGuru He is great driver, but he is also one of the most disliked drivers of F1,and I dont wonder why....in many ways he is more "swine" than Schumi ever was.

  • @Balnazzardi He may complain a bit, but just look at the excitement he brings to races. And even if you do look at how much he "complains", why don't you go out and hate on Hamilton or Massa instead? They are the truly annoying ones.

  • @PhantomHourglassGuru Even as annoing as Hamilton can be with his whiny comments, atleast HE brings excitement to the track....you never know if his overtaking might end up in crash :P...and Massa for the last year was much part of those crashes, and ofcourse always blamed Hamilton, but overall he isnt nearly as annoying as Falonso or Hamilton can be.....I still remember how Falonso after team-order in Germany 2010 lied in front of media, even thought EVERYONE knew the truth...what a slimeball

  • @Balnazzardi Sorry, you find Hamilton's tendency to crash exciting? Is that sarcasm? Because if you're serious, then why are you watching F1, if you're excited to see crashes?

And about Alonso lying in front of the media... how is that a big deal? Drivers lie all the damn time. Hamilton does, Vettel does, Schumacher very obviously has. It's a very common occurence. You know, based on all of the comments that I've read that you posted, I'd say that you're just an angry Kimi fan.

  • i want to see kimi start a new gp!!! what a great driver

  • 2012 season will be shit if murray walker isnt back to commentate

  • Welcome back to your home Ice~Man :)

  • El WRC no es para cualquiera....

  • And at very least Kimi during his Ferrari season didnt whine to the team-radio such things as "this is ridiclous"...or "I give up, I give up"......Also "almost" winning champsionship doestn count....Alonso lost the championship, he couldnt overtake Petrov and after the race showed middle-finger to him....all these things and Falonso's clear involvment in the events of Singapore 2008 "crashgate".....how can you have ANY respect for such pathethic excuse of an F1 driver....

  • @Balnazzardi cuz he's a good racer blehehehe

  • @Balnazzardi You should get your facts straight before you spout out such nonsense. Both Raikkonen and Alonso are exceptional drivers. Alonso in 2011 was clearly the best driver on the grid, going over the limit of what his car was capable of. Just because his character differs from someone else makes him a pathetic excuse of a F1 driver? It's more like you're a pathetic excuse for an F1 fan who clearly has no understanding of how F1 works.

  • @Balnazzardi how do you fell? having two top comments on one video?

  • And finally about Kimi widows. I follow F1 closely and I`m a member of many F1 forums. And on every forum you can find people like you, who just can`t accept the fact, that Kimi was replaced by Alonso. Or Falonso, like you call him. Btw, not funny. And it has been going on for 2 years now. Just get over it and enjoy Kimi`s comeback.

  • And as Ferrari fan, I`m happy he was replaced with Alonso. And every tifosi should be, just like the team is. That`s why they gave him new contract until 2016! Just look at Fernando`s commitment at every race, even with such a dog car like F150 Italia. Amazing. And about spanish fans. What they did was not right. But I saw videos on youtube, where Fernando was given abuse when he came to British GP. Yeah, it was`t racial obviously, but enough to see, that idiots are among fans in both countries.

  • @thetommygunn and yet has Alonso managed to deliver Ferrari a championship?.....Where Kimi succeeded, Falonso failed.....and Ferrari in 2008 and 2009 failed to deliver Kimi a car he would have liked....the car was developed much more into Massa's liking.

  • @Balnazzardi You are blaming him. That's why you keep mentioning his name over and over again. Besides you don't even know ferrari would have kept kimi even if santander didn't agree to pay his contract. Ferrari could have decided to pay it themselves and probably would have. 30 million is peanuts to ferrari especially if it gives them a better chance to win the championship. The championship bonus alone is 10x that much :P

  • @xflynskywlkr23 Well that didnt go exactly according to plan now,did it? :P....Even illegal and clear team-order couldnt get them the drivers championship....and if Massa continues to be as shitty driver as he has been for last 2 years,it doesnt matter how great results Falonso gets,if Massa cant even finish up in 3rd during the entire season...So if anything they should have kicked Massa out long ago....but hey, what can you expect from Italianos, they always make stupid decisions

  • @Balnazzardi lol Alonso almost won in 2010 with zero help from felipe. If ferrari gives alonso the best car or near the best that is more than enough for him to win. BTW didn't raikkonen get help from felipe in 2007? Didn't ferrari issue team orders in the last race? lol Get over it already for the last time.

  • @xflynskywlkr23 maybe they did, maybe they didnt....but at THAT point it wouldnt have mattered, cause Massa had no chance whatsoever to win the championship...in Germany 2010 Falonso whined to the team-radio "This is ridicilous, tell Felipe to let me pass, cause I suck at overtaking"...sure at that point Massa hadnt nearly as many points as Falonso, but he still in theory had a chance for championship, so that was totally different scenario anyway than in Brasil 2007 idiot.

  • @Balnazzardi Thanks for the history lesson. I see the point i was trying to make flew completely over your head ;) oh well have fun crying about alonso.

  • @xflynskywlkr23 Nope, Im going to have fun watching Falonso and Ferrari fail this season as well :P...Eyebrow himself has said that Ferrari still has LOT to do to improve the car before first race....and if Kimi and Lotus could even beat them, well that would double the fun :P

  • @Balnazzardi Good thing that would never happen. Guess you'll just have to keep crying lol

  • @xflynskywlkr23 Well lets just wait 1 month and then we shall see it :P....sure Ferrari has still time to improve their car, but if the season would start right now, Lotus might actually be better than Ferrari...if you followed Jerez tests last week, you would know this as a fact.

  • @Balnazzardi Haha! Look at you! Your so consumed with hatred for ferrari for what happened in 2007 that you are blaiming alonso for doing nothing. You think any other driver would have turned down that offer to join ferrari? Alonso just did what any driver would have.done in that situation. Instead of critisizing ferrari why don't you just appreciate the fact that ferrari gave kimi a car that was capable of winning the champoinship, Something no other team he drove for could do.

  • @xflynskywlkr23 and for your information...it is santander that pay alonso 's salaries...not ferrari~~!! When you're rich...you dont mind getting richier aint you??/

  • @Balnazzardi It was ferrari who gave his his first championship and 2 championship winning cars :P. Don't forget it. The fact that he underperformed isn't ferrar's, alonso;s or even santanders fault, but im sure you still find a way to blame one of them.

  • @xflynskywlkr23 underperform??? if i recall 2008....ferrari gave him an unreliable car that broke down in europian gp, exhaust problem in france??? pitlane accident in singapore??? and in 2009 ferrari gave him a shit car...fisi claim that he feel like an old guy after driving it for 1 race.. leaving Kimi scoring the highest point in 2nd half of the season without any new updates~~!! 5 podiums and 1 wins~!! did he complaint about it??

  • @chanyiwei Massa's car was unreliable as well. Pit lane incident in singapore, engine failure in hurgary, engine failure in australia... so reliability is just a silly excuse. Only a big kimi fanboy would deny that kimi didn't underperform. The guy got as many wins as alonso did in a freakin renault. I watched all the races. Maybe you should watch them again to refresh your memory because you seem to only remember kimi's misfortunes :P it went both ways.

  • @xflynskywlkr23 underperform??? im telling you he was on his last lap to win the race....for those races i mentioned...~~~ Massa got his car wreck up..but was him on his way to victory??? NO....so get your facts right dude~!! Im nt making up stupid excuse...how amny driver actually had their car broke down when they are on the last few lap to victory??? Not as much as kimi did since his mclaren day.......

  • @chanyiwei NO? So massa wasn't on his way to victory in singapore? He wasn't on his way to victory in hungary? lol Maybe you should go actually watch the races because there is no point in arguing with someone who has no clue what they're talking about. You reek of kimi fanboyism so there is really no point in trying to have this discussion in the first place. If you want to keep telling yourself kimi didn't underperform then well go ahead. I can already see this is pointless.

  • @xflynskywlkr23 But also you cant deny that Kimi had his own share of technical problems and bad luck as well...and chanyiwei as mostly talking about 2009 season, like I said too in that lat 1/3rd of the season Kimi actually managed OUTperform his car and that is also something you cant deny when you look at the results, even if you dont compare them to Badoer and Fisico. In 2008 Massa WAS better, there is no denying it,but Kimi is still Ferrari's latest champ..not Massa, not Falonso

  • @xflynskywlkr23 yea rite....i still remember the pitlane incident who caused him fall back behind the grid...but he eventually climb back to fifth until another accident.....where is massa?? comfortly stuck at behind~!! Yea underperform...you tell me that F1 expert~!!

  • Comment removed

  • @xflynskywlkr23 is nt a silly excuse dude..not when you are on the last few lap to victory....~~! It aint cool bashing a driver when the car failed him on his last few lap to victory....~~! I watched them dozen time......im pretty sure more than you did....~~! so you can save your saliva and go watch back a dozen time!!

  • @xflynskywlkr23 Many superficial fans will bash him based on stats and tabloid...in fact im impress by kimi on 2009...thats clearly not an easy car to drove....Fisi said that he aged more after driving that F60 for 1 race....ended up both him and Badoer finished way behind points....but how the fk did Kimi scored 1 win and 5 podiums which score most point on 2nd half of the season with a car that clearly no update since?? Im sure an F1 expert like you know very well...!!

  • @xflynskywlkr23 in08 If kimi 's engine didn;t blow up in europian gp Massa would nt win....if he was on proper pit strategy in SPA..massa wouldn't win~!! and if the exhaust was working in france....massa wouldn't win~!! Most of the massa 's win results from Kimi 's bad luck or rather an unreliable car...watch some races b4 comment pls!!

  • @Balnazzardi kimiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii :D

  • @Balnazzardi don`t get me wrong, I`m happy he`s back. But his years in Ferrari were not his best. In fact many times he underperformed compared to Massa. You have to admit this. And I agree, he had some great performances after Massa was injured, specially that win in Spa, but don`t compare his performance with Badoer. He just didn`t delivered every race like he was expected. Because of that not constant performances he gave Santander a chance to buy his contract and was replaced by Alonso.

  • @thetommygunn Thank you! Nice to know there are still some sensible fans out there.

  • and the we know.....Kimi saw that as perfect opportunity to try rally, while he got fully paid for 2010 season without driving one meter of F1 car. And overall I think that was a break Kimi needed from F1, cause now he seems more excited about F1 and racing on track again than he did when he left F1.

Anyways all of this is A FACT, and if you think Kimi underperformed the car, just go look back the 2009 results.....Kimi took everything out of that shitty car, while Badoer and Fisi underperformed

  • Kimi wasnt as talkative as Ferrari would have wanted, and as we all know so very well, Kimi has always hated all kinds of press and media events....so Ferrari also wanted some1 more "suitable" for them to do that job as well

But it was the Santander's money that closed the deal....If you dont happen to know Santander paid Kimi the money he would have gotten from his conrtact with Ferrari in 2010+little some extra for breaking that contract, but ONLY if Kimi wouldnt get paid by any other team

  • Also, if you seriously can't count that Spanish driver + Spanish bank = Let's pay Kimi out of the team, you are an idiot.

Kimi himself has said all the time that the issue were not about his speed or results, he just said that in his opinion, he drove some of his best races in 2009. In addition to the big sponsor money that Santander brought to Ferrari, another reason why they wanted Falonso, was that after Jean Todt left, Kimi just didnt get along with the team and Dominicali so well.

  • LOL You kimi widows are hilarious. Blame alonso all you want but it's kimi's poor performance's in 2008 and 2009 which is the reason ferrari didn't want him. That is not alonso or even santanders fault. Thats kimi's fault.

  • @xflynskywlkr23 HAH!....in 2008 Kimi lost to Massa, that is true, but look at Kimi's performance after Massa got injured in Hungary 2009....in that last 1/3rd of the season Kimi scored MOST points, except for Hamilton, who got 1 point more. That is a fact, he actually OUTPERFORMED his car, and finally the team actually listened Kimi and made the car into more HIS liking, not Massa's....and because of that he managed to get the only win for Ferrari that season with a shitty car.

  • @Balnazzardi Yes true but obviously that was not enough to make up for his poor peformances in the first half of the year and the year before and yes im sure the fact that alonso is spanish has alot to do with santander paying kimi out but if you think that's alonso's fault then YOU are the idiot. Get over it and stop blaming alonso ffs.

  • @xflynskywlkr23 Im not blaming Falonso for it, just saying that if he didnt have Spanish bank to back him up, he most likely wouldnt have gotten to Ferrari in 2010....Ferrari thought that Alonso could be so much better than Kimi....and yet Kimi is still Ferrari's latest champion :P

  • I love Kimi, he`s a fantastic driver. But his fans, so called "Kimi widows", are the most annoying F1 fans you can find.

  • @thetommygunn how about "Spaniards" Falonso fans , who after during and especially after 2007 season said quite nasty things about Hamilton and FIA even had to publicly say that they do not tolerate racists comments of any kind.....if you ask me, those are the most annoying and worst F1 fans.

  • @Balnazzardi How about the delusional kimi "widows' who blame alonso for kimi getting kicked out of ferrari when in reality they just can't accept the fact that he underperformed while at ferrari? Get over it already.

  • KIMI IS THE KING!!!!

  • what name song?

  • All signs that he is travelling quite well at the test this week with Lotus. Look forward to seeing Kimi at his best again

  • Finally. The One is back!

  • I can't waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttt!!!!! :D

  • yes, m..f..ckin. yes!

in my opinion - best driver in the last years!

  • Oh yea, Gorilla suites! Somebody better wear them on at least one F1 track!

  • he came back hoping to drink champagne left from podium-finishers

  • kimi is a very good driver!!!

he do it better than schumacher....

  • 42 drivers were scared

  • He is the Iceman... -25-41 celsius in Finland at the moment.

  • <3.

  • Kimi win like james hunt ..hands up :)

  • ok we all agree that he's on of the best f1 drivers but i mean come on lotus !!

  • So Kimi is either going to stick with Lotus, or go to RedBull or Mercedes after Webber and/or Schumi retires....Mclaren might be an option too, if Lewis Hamiltion would want to change the team and go to RedBull or Mercedes (or even Ferrari).

  • Anyways, the most important thign is that he returned, cause, that's how he can show top teams, that his skills havent gone anywhere....if he had gone for one more year, he might not have gotten a place in any team, cause the more years you are away, the less chance you have to get back....even if you are world champion.

  • to be honnest, (and it makes me sad) i think kimi wont make a chance not vs buton or alonso or hamilton or vettel.. because--> he will drive a lotus.. and he can be verry talented but the car is just not good enough to go vs a redbul driver or ferrari for example... and this would be the same if u put vetel or alonso in a lotus.. they wouldnt have a chance... thats what i think.. idk if u all agree? (i really do hope he would proove im wrong and could be competetive vs the top cars i really do!)

  • @needspee maybe, maybe not, but Kimi really didnt have a choice about the matter....the most important thing is that he returned, and for a while it seemed that he would have to make his return in Williams...but then with the (unfortunate) accident and injury of Kubica, and his slow recovery, opportunity opened in Lotus, which is lot better option than Williams. So if Lotus is competetitive, Kimi might actually stay there after this year...if not, he tries to get to RedBull or Mercedes

  • @Balnazzardi true and yes im gled he returnes and i hope the car will be compitetive! ps: i hope he will drive a ferrari again, not a redbull ;p (ferrari fan) :D

  • @needspee Well not going to happen, unfortunately.....Ferrari (or more precisly Santander) paid him out of the team (and basicly out of F1) to get Falonso in his place....So even if Ferrari wanted him back (which is not going to happen as long as Alonso is in the team and Santander giving them sponsor money for that), I highly doubt that Kimi would want to return there, cause aftet Jean Todt left, relationship between Kimi and Ferrari didnt really work...and he already won champ there

  • @Balnazzardi and.... now im silent :p i didnt know all that but cool okay :) tnx

  • @needspee Yeah, Kimi had contract with Ferrari for 2010, but Santander agreed to pay for Kimi the money and some extra for that year....but ONLY if Kimi wouldnt get paid from another F1-team....so Kimi saw that as perfect opportunity to try Rally...but were it not for Falonso and Santander (which is Spanish bank, suprise suprise), Kimi would have driven Ferrari in 2010

  • @Balnazzardi and won another title in which Failonso failed to do so~~~

  • @chanyiwei Heheh, very true ^^

  • @Balnazzardi

and even passed petrov ( without international signs )

  • Go to (F1 zone) and watch the 9 minute video showing him thrashing the 2010 renualt around valencia. It also features an interview with him,it looks like he has not lost his touch.

  • @iTriGGletyi I agree regarding the overtaking ,its so fake now. DRS is a joke. Dont mind kers as it works for both defender and the overtaker but DRS just ruins the art of the overtake. Really should be a battle for position not a simple button press and cruise past.

  • Return Of The King (King of SPA)! :))

  • @iTriGGletyi For example year 2004. There was nearly every of the Gran Prixes the winner from Ferrari. Do you think it was then alive?

  • I WANT TO SEE A "VETTEL vs RAIKKONEN" BATTLE THIS SEASON !!!

  • @FormulaOne1Expert So would I, but the reality is that Lotus/Renault is a serious contender 2014-2015. Anywho...We will see those awesome kimi-moves in the forthcoming season, and I really believe that he will be constantly in top 10. At this point no-one really knows how good the car is. Few weeks and we'll see...

  • I'm so glad that Kimi is back in F1!

  • @pimpedvw , so, fuck off you - IDIOT.

  • @iTriGGletyi

now, now... why see it from that point of view, why can't it be watching someone fight for a position and keep it even if the guy behind has the advantage...

  • great great video! keep on doing them :)

  • @iTriGGletyi you are right f1 is getting worse

  • @caiptainxephos but it is not ruined

  • This guy is pretty good but he is no match for the top 3 in F1 now - Sebastian, Lewis and Fernando.

  • @Invincible278 he'll wipe them out

  • @Invincible278 That's your opinion....

Imo top-3 drivers (note that I would put Kubica there, if he would be capable of full recovery): Raikkonen, Vettel, Button....although IF Hamilton doesnt make as many mistakes as in 2011, in pure natural speed he is better and more talented than Button....but Button imo is more "sensible" driver, and after 2 years at Mclaren, he has really become one of the best, even better than Hamilton.

After these 3 drivers it's Falonso.

  • @Balnazzardi after those 4 drivers I meant to say :P....yes Falonso is quick, but one thing why I dont rate him higher are all those things that have happened in the past....and he constantly makes good results, but Alonso has almost never REALLY impressed me the way Kimi, Kubica, Vettel, Ham and even Button have.

  • Brilliant video but what's the name of the song and can you get it on I-tunes

  • @iTriGGletyi It's because F1 cars are more equal now... So you need "buttons" to overtake (safely) so no one gets hurt anymore you should respect that. I know it's hard to imagine because we don't drive these things but if we did we'd be glad this is the case.. so think twice before you judge

  • kimi's gonna show vettel!!

  • @Deano185 I don't think so (not a Vettel fan)

  • @iTriGGletyi 1993 - 2008 RIP.

  • thank you so much for this awesome video, let's hope kimi will win in 2012

please everone check this video /watch?v=c-7xaD30GvQ

  • Sorry, found it. Thank you.

  • Beautiful music. What`s the name of this song?

  • @sampras25 Mark Petrie - Richat

  • @iTriGGletyi Oooh i see how many WC do you have? i bet you drive around in a mainstream toyota or maybe just maybe you actually race go carts? :DD buttons or not to overtake in 200 km/h in a racing car may seem easy but no it is not! go out try to drive your regular car in a little over 200 km/h on a STRAGHT then imagine to turn in almost that speed. Stop crying over these kind of things. Before kers and DRS people where complaining overfew overtakes, now they complain over to easy overtakes OMG

  • @dobidaaaaa he is right and wtf u compare a road care to an f1 care??

when ur are in a road car yeah it is fucking crazzy to drive 200 kmh fun but gangerous but when u dirve in a f1 car 200 kmh it feels more like 100 kmh in a road car how the fuck can u compare these 2 thing???

and he is right that drs and kers makes overtaking to easy u know what is good? the old rules that u can overtake in croners and that ur allowed to defend with evrything u got!

  • @camiel221 Yeah when i said that, try to do it on a empty road like in the morning or something. And fuck no it's not easy to shift 300 times in ONE lap+ all the extra they have to do like change braking and then you have to overtake another car?+ you need to get the right braking point and brake good so you not outbrake youself or brake to early. It is hell of a work to do. Same shit every fucking year ever since i stared watching this sport in 1998. It was almost impossilbe to overtake.

  • @dobidaaaaa not realy a cople years back u atleast hath fights, in corners and straigt parts now hardly in corners any more and these fights are the best.

and come on these guys can do anything with a car overtaking on straight is so damn easy for them they dont to difrent, but fighting in corners that is a bit difcult because then u see them some times go of the trake because then they missed a brake point, that are nice fights to watch. quality not quantity!

  • @camiel221 Oh come on since when do they don't overtake in corners to? stop living in past and accept that it is damn hard, and when they did it was becuze the leading car was so much slower but it could kinda easy defend it place becuze it was almost impossible there were so much factors that played a role, it was more racing on strategy whit fuel and tyres. I remember people whined about "get back no fueling" and now when we have it it's like "worst shit evaaaah, besides v10 engines". Be happy

  • @dobidaaaaa i never was againt the refueling bringing tactics in the sport is good then the smaller teams got some upertunety to do something special and get the some places up, refueling is good the old rules are a lot better, u know the coming rule for next season? it means that your even less allowed to defend ur fucking posisition!! u think that is good? f1 i becoming a sport with way to many rules and buttons i want to see reel talent! not some on clicking a buton

  • @dobidaaaaa The younger fans complained about there being no overtaking and it being boring. The proper fans watched through the older era's with less overtaking and loved it all the same. KERS, DRS and the artificial racing by the pirelli tyres is something that indycar would try, not only that but we have to put up with cars that are ugly now days and now from having awesome V10's to good V8's we're now going to crap V6's with turbo's... it is a joke

  • @atomicR4GER you sir are full of it.. The older F1 had way more overtaking. Until the they started to deskill the F1 drivers into Xbox players did the sport become boring. Their is no more individuality no more greta duels amongst the pilots no rivalry.

No todays its a boring race ran by engineers and technicians,

  • @MrFangole You're the one thats "full of it". Do you honestly think just anyone could drive an F1 car? AND be competitive? you also can't DESKILL (is that even a word?) a driver. Also you say there is no individuality, so what about Hamiltons super aggresive/irresponsible style, Buttons super smooth laidback style or Alonso's super professional style? nothing? hmm? . Okay rivalries. What so Hamilton-Alonso in '07 doesn't count? Kimi-Alonso '05 doesn't count? etc.

  • @atomicR4GER Actually with today's equipment, and sims available I think anyone can drive an F1 car competitively.. Plz do not talk about the hissy fits from Primadonnas as a rivalry. The drivers today are more concerned about their metro sexual looks than the quality of their performance.

If the human factor is removed is it still a sport ???

  • @MrFangole Okay, so if your a team boss, with millions of dollars at stake your going to sign an unproven race car driver with his sole experience in sim racing? if you answer yes then you're as stupid as i think you are.

You also think the current drivers couldn't hack it? well lets look at an example Michael Schumacher, driving an upper midfield car in 1991-93 was racing wheel to wheel with said drivers Senna, Prost and Mansell and is still fairly competitive now..

  • @atomicR4GER Let me see ohh wait a Russian driver comes to mind with Renault.. and a few others what are they called pay drivers..

  • @MrFangole But unlike a random off the street.. petrov drove in GP2, just like Maldonado and most drivers that you would associate pay drivers with, they actually has experience in racing wheel to wheel with another car in realtime.

Again if you think anybody could do it then go do it yourself

  • @atomicR4GER Actually I did race in my younger days, Gilles V. was a great sponsor and helped allot of young teams get off the ground. N. Lauda once said a trained monkey can win in F1 with a good car..

  • @MrFangole Also .. The racing today just like EVERY other era in F1 is the best cars always win, there will be races where it will be over because of a cars clear dominance on a certain track and the race will be boring or over at T1 L1. But i'm not someone who watches F1 for overtaking, i watch it for the spectacle that it has the world best drivers, fastest cars, the ever improving technologies the teams come up with driving around the best tracks...

  • @atomicR4GER Actually I do not believe it has the best drivers anymore. Nor the best cars... Even the newer tracks are not really the best in the world. Another Bernie illusion here.. I was at the first Montreal GP in 67 in the paddocks when Gilles won his Montreal race, now there we had some real great drivers. Drivers with passion and determination, teams who went beyond expectations, and drivers who could deliver 110 percent.

  • @MrFangole Then explain to me how Fernando Alonso, didnt outdrive his car in 2007-08 or Hamilton in 2009? The sport, barring different tracks, different looking cars is no different to how it was in the past. The best drivers always find themselves driving for the better/best teams, though there is the odd occasion where the better teams make a crap car. Stop looking back at the past with rose tinted glasses the sport hasn't changed too much.

  • @MrFangole Also another thing... once a sport or profession becomes well.. professional or elite ALL the things you say happen, teams have to have that focus and professionalism otherwise you end up like Lola or USF1.. you heard of these "teams"? yes?.

Also, drivers DO have personalities and individuality you just don't see it, there is rivalry and there has been the last few years.. again you fail to see it, sure they aren't as apparent as it may have been in the past but its there

  • @atomicR4GER PIlots!!! Drivers in F1 today.. Compare to the Stewarts, Gilles Villeneuve, Prost, Senna , Mansel, and so so many more our current stock of gameboy drivers would not stand a chance with the equipment of past and level of talent available on the field..

What i see today is a twitter gossip, a few vids on Youtube, but not much on the race track. Though I will say that once a race is 2 or 3 laps old we pretty much know who will win it..

  • @MrFangole I suggest if you watch F1 just because of the overtaking and "personalities" to go watch NASCAR, Indycar or V8 Supercars. They all have overtaking AND personalities.

  • @atomicR4GER Well yes i get it that the cars are ugly and in the eyes of fans the seem always to be ugly. I remeber back in 2007-2008 ppl complained about the ugly side pods, in 2009 they complained about slicks and wanted grooves back which they hated before. I just can't take it anymore from F1 fans they will never be happy, not even if Senna would be alive and race till he is 120 years old. Some cars this year is looking worse, but if you love the sport you will find some cars beautiful to.

  • @iTriGGletyi ur right about that, but i stil like it the races are broing but sometimes the real drivers can make a real fight, it is only rare, u know the fight on monza with hamilton and schumi? that is what i gues we both want to see the whole race with any ones.

this is also a reason why i love rain races, no DRS :D then the telant of the driver comes up again

  • @iTriGGletyi Couldn't agree more.

Try watching some other stuff out there. Like ILMS, WTCC, etc. They're a lot more fun to watch.

  • I dont know whu guys are hate the ''one button thing'' every one has it.. get whit the time comon!!

  • Welcome back...So now we gonna look forward to a Fantastic year..cant wait to see you ..showing them all how to handle a F1

  • @iTriGGletyi Enough said, mate. Toys in hands of boys instead of bolids in hands of men. What a fucking disaster F1 is nowadays... :(

  • @iTriGGletyi Overtaking in F1 is easy now,but you have to admit it was almost imposible before thus making the races not as action-filled as today. It's in my opinion a foolish decision not to watch F1 anymore becouse F1 has always been changing during the years and in no time at all we will have firebreathing monsters for engines again :D(When Bernie dies ofcourse).

Wasen't the TC Era of F1 similar to what it is today?

  • The top 6 finishes could be Spa and Monaco... :-)

  • 2011 Renault (2012 Lotus) was a disaster - in the last 12 races, they only got 13 points!!! Of the 9 not-a-bad-joke teams, only Williams were worse in the last 12 races (OMG, poor Sir Frank must be mad about that). Still, 2012 will possibly bring a slight improvement and my estimate is Kimi in top 10 in 13 races (out of 20), including two lucky top 6 finishes. Overall, 9th place would be OK, anything better would be VERY nice (unless the car improves by a mile and other teams don't drop a lot).

  • Kimi is back...

  • What's the name of the song as I can't find it on iTunes great video by the way

  • No matter what the CAR will do, I am confident that KIMI will NOT disappoint. I am especially interested in the Raikkonen - Grosjean duel. BTW: Kimi is the best for me in 2003-2009, but now Seb's both mature AND having the best car designer EVER. I see Seb on par with Fangio, Clark, and Senna. I hope he will prove that yet again in 2012. But it would be nice to see Kimi and Michael fighting for the championship as well (Kimi in 2013, Michael already in 2012). Let's pray their cars get better...

  • @jakubkrcma In my opinion Seb is not and will never be as good as Fangio,Clark or Senna.

  • @TheLloydA1 For me, he already is in that society, but I understand that people usually want to see a longer career span with various equipment and many tough situations to thoroughly evaluate a driver.

  • @jakubkrcma In my opinion hes not even as good as Alonso or even Jenson Button. I want to see him win in a bad car,or come from the back of the pack to win. Also i dont think his carear has gone on long enough either to comment on this subject really.

  • @TheLloydA1 Well, I have analysed his qualifying and races and he's unbelievably consistent, especially at that age and number of seasons in F1. He has had a competitive car for 3 seasons and was 1st twice and 2nd once, basically due to the very special first half of 2009 for Brawn. For example, in 2011, he had 15 poles in 19 races and in the 4 races he wasn't on pole, his average loss to pole was ~0.147. Only Senna in 1989 (~0.138) did better. AS in 88, NM in 92, and AP in 93 worse.

  • @TheLloydA1 And in some races of 2011, McLaren was fully competitive or even marginally better than RBR. Definitely, he is special. In qual., only FA and NR can properly compete with SV (in relation to the car's performance). And he had nowhere near the car advantage of NM 92 and AP 93. I think Vettel + Newey will be a difficult combination to beat in 2012, again, although I do expect RBR to lose a substantial advantage over McL and Fer. I wish MS at least one podium...

  • 2009 after f1 car is so stupid and sucks

  • Nice video btw, the dramatic song really adds some spirit to it ;) Must admit that in the period Kimi was in F1 I have not been following F1. Have picked that up since 2010 season, and THAT was a shock to see how much did change! But hey, I deal with it haha :)

  • @iTriGGletyi You cannot stop a sport or anything else from evolving. From mere daily life activities, throughout the top branches of industry, sports, entertainment, ... I don't think that is a bad thing, though. Think about everything before your time. People surely have been thinking the same. Sure, F1 will lose fans but they will also gain 'new generation' fans. Don't get me wrong here, I fully understand you and agree with you on parts of your comments but F1 really isn't dead.

  • the past is the past and Kimi had his moments.

but now his return makes no good to F1. I seriously doubt his motivation particularly in the car which will not allow him to fight for the title - after all in his Ferrari years generally he was slower than Massa.

it is a shame because many young drivers deserve this chance in Lotus-Renault much more than Kimi who is returning only because he could not succeed in WRC

  • @redupfox Kimi is more motivated than ever....do you seriously think he would return if he had no motivation whatsoever?... The money is not an issue, cause if he wanted, he could retire just this moment. He wanted back to F1, cause he started to miss back and he himself knew that returning straight back to team capable of fighting for championship was impossible, though ofcourse Kimi wants to win again.

Anyways,do not judge Kimi until you've seen how he will perform this year

  • @Balnazzardi Kimi is young and retirement would be too boring.

Kimi's return is a good marketing move for Lotus-Renault and F1 as a whole but do not expect any surprises from him. 8-10th position in year-end rankings in 2012, I can put all my money on that

  • @redupfox Yeah, that is most likely, but the most important thing is that Kimi can take everything he can out of that car,and do the best possible results with it and when possible (like when the track is wet),try to challenge the top-4 teams =)..like I said, no-one expects him to fight for wins, and he would be lucky to get even once to podium, but if he can take constantly points, and clearly beat his team-mate,then he already has been succesful..and maybe one day he will get to win again

  • @Balnazzardi who knows? at least he will have fun. if he delivers proper results may be a seat in a top team would be available in 2013 or 2014

  • @redupfox yep,and if Lotus would actually be able to develope so much over next season, maybe Kimi would even stay that other year there....but it's indeed much more likely that he would try to get to RedBull or Mercedes when Schumi/Webber retires from F1...anyways we should just hope that Kimi can deliver the best show possible, do many great overtakes and maybe even get suprisingly good results in a race or two =).After he has adjusted to Pirelli tyres, the only limit is the car itself

  • @Balnazzardi the only thing I'm concerned of is Lotus-Renault management - it is very disfunctional and I dunno where the funds come from to develop the car etc.

They've sacked two more than decent drivers in the last 2 months and preferred Grosjean to Sutil, Barrichello, Algersuari etc. Kimi might be in a not very good hands.

But definitely he will try to get the best out of his car
