  • You are very loving to horses!! I love them soooo much and really want one someday!!:)

  • I was recently in an accident that left me paralyzed from the waist down. I want to do this more than anything, I've loved horses all of my life and never thought I would be able to ride again. I cannot find a place though near me to do this at =[ I'm so glad to know there is hope though ^^ thanks CRFoundation!!

  • seeing the first lady makes me want to cry, i wonder why people have to be this way, being that it is not fair in life

  • This is a fantastic, very touching and useful video. It was very well made.

Thank you so very much for sharing this. This little girl is so strong and amazing.

I'm looking for a Therapeutic centre to volunteer at. I would love to help people in such an amazing way.

  • I thank everyone who starts programs like this. My brother is disabled and he loves horses like i do! I dont know what we would do without horses. THR (theraputic horseback riding) is good because horses movement is like a humans so children (my bro) that have trouble walking get better. I know i notice it. It helps with other things too. Like learn his colors and shapes (the arena is decorated) and and so much! I love programs like this lol i said that

  • God Bless these Angels who started this!

  • Theriputic Riding helps the disabled have a relationship to animals especially

  • yes I know it teaches them other skills, but NOT how to accually ride a horse.

  • They have disabilitys, Hence that word, they cant ride like we can, so please dont down these people, you just thank God that you are not paralyzed and also pray for those who are!

  • exactly!! you are so right

  • yes it does teach them how to ride, there are people that i know that compete at top level dressage and have won so obviously they are able to ride a horse

  • I love riding and Im paralyzed from chest down..Check out my video's..Anyone needing help just ask

  • i ride at a place liek this... here in oregon.. its such a cool program

  • i really don't like therapuetic riding because it's basicly lieing to people, telling them they can ride when really they do nothing but sit there themselves.horses are the love of my life but i know that the are amazing animals but they are also sometimes hard to deal with ex. my horse is a barrel racer and a girl with a leg movment imparement said she could ride her so i let her on and biscuit took off with her and she couldn't stop her, so really they do not really ride.

  • It is theraputic, it helps people with limited mobility move parts of their body they may not be able to move on their own. I have worked with people that do this and not only does is help with certain movements, it helps with confidence and self esteem. Do some more research before you judge this form of therapy. No one is bein lied to..no one expects miracles..just happiness and hope..

  • my brother is disabled and actually my brother LOVES it :) my brother has trouble walking so the horses walk is the same way as a human the joins move the same way and after riding a horse for a while my brothers walking improves. They also do speech, learn colors and other activites. So really there learning many things :D

  • Therapeutic riding is great. I volunteered at a place and it was amazing to see the look on the riders faces when they see their horses.

  • My dad and I are trying to get a grant to open a stable for this very reason. I have a relative who is 8yo and has never walked and does not know how to talk he is mentally retarded. We own horses and just coming out to see them makes him smile and his mom says he babbles all day when he sees them and I would love to put a smile on a kids face that has disabilities. There is no equine therapy centers around here and we would love to take care of that.

  • My wife and I plan on opening a TRC in the very near future. :)

  • I'm starting a TRC here in Florida, I welcome any ideas or advice. Your place looks GREAT!

    Keep up the Great Work!

  • I volunteer at a theraputic riding center, it's a blast watching the smiles on the kids faces!

  • Therapeutic riding is great. I love it. I did it.I'm now becoming an instructor, because I love it so much!

  • Great video, my horse is used weely at the riding for disabled in New Zealand and to see people taking their first ride off the lead, or first canter is so wonderful. We've even had him doing slow careful jumps.....the smiles and joy that come from this are truely priceless

  • i think this is the best thing! EVERYONE can enjoy horses....AND riding *^_^*

  • Horse back riding teacher wants to start up one those therapeutic riding things with kids. as soon as she starts it I might be able to help her out.

  • who would have thought that something 1,000 pounds could be a childs best friend.

  • Glad to see her being able to walk again

  • There is nothing better for the soul than the company of a horse. You guys are doing wonderful thing, keep it up!
