Panda has the most inept / arrogant support staff imaginable. After years of receiving spam from them which is seemingly impossible to unsubscribe from a Panda webmaster apologized twice but was unable (or unwilling) to have my email address expunged from their list. If it was the best antivirus S/W in the world and if it was free I would never never never buy anything from Panda. My advise, don't let them have your email address unless you're willing to change it later.

Nod32 gave me lots of trouble, dont believe me? PM me and ill give ya a link to show ya why I HATE nod32 now. It completely SUCKS IMHO. It dident find shit for me. Avira just detected 12 viruses, SUPERantispyware 4, and maleware bytes 1. Yea, nod32 NOTHING. I had to uninstall it

It should remove viruses (It is an antivirus) and malware, maybe not. You need a separate program at best to remove malware, spyware, and adware.

But kaspersky also has some stability issues and I have seen it just stop for no reason at all... Norton used to throw errors on xp shutdown. Mcafee has it's issues as well but mcafee is going in the right direction with it's site advisor service. None of these are perfect and it always seems to come down to how much you wanna be bothered with alerts versus how secure you wanna be. Panda doesn't constantly prompt you with confusing alerts.

@godale44 mcafee is worst antivirus...Kaspersky just killing viruses but doesn't blocks attack from your PC.Norton blocks viruses and autoremove em and blocks attacks from your PC.

Panda internet security 08 is pretty good... I tried 09 and it does seem to still have some stability bugs. My question is this... why would you not have panda do the scan prior to install? maybe you have a reason but that made no sense to me.
