Cats are weird and great. I had two sister cats given to me by a vet, who did not realize both were pregnant, *sigh*. Alas, I returned one of them back to the vet to have her spayed. About 3 weeks later the other girl had her litter, abandoned all the kittens and the spayed female took over, and nursed all her nieces and nephews ^-.-^ meow
Thanks for the comment friend! Animals share very human personality characteristics most certainly. Some are unfit mothers and some are compelled to nuture - some are extremely tolerant and others demonstrate arrested development as is the case in point with Edmund my cat.
