  • Such a great Song and bryan sings really well

  • 2:35 + Oh God !

  • ya dont often see roger daltrey playing guitar.

  • When I hear people starting to sing this song, I'm always afraid they won't make through some of the parts. And I'm always happy to find out that some people actually manage, like Bryan. ♥

  • Still for sale sew on badges of Glitter and Townshend.

  • I dont know. This guy playing guitar, I think he has a brilliant future ahead.

  • @msalbego93 are you talking about pete townshend or roger daltery ? dunno abt their future.. but my god they have a colorful past.. in their hay day they made other rockstars look like school kids !!!

  • also Cause life is a game

  • Zac Starkey (Ringo's son) was 12 years old when Keith Moon died. He didn't join The Who until 1996. Kenny Jones and others played drums for the band. Zac has been with the Who off and on since 96.

  • lool i got moneys

  • Should have let Pete just take the harmony. Still great.

  • I would like more please !

  • To my privat blue eyes irish man who i LOVE!!!!

  • awesome BA

  • шедевр!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • they r gethered for a good cause...nice performance..

  • i will perform this...love u bryan adams..

  • when my fist clenches crack it open!.."...Woow!

  • love love love Bryan

  • woooow, the drummer look like he got 4 HANDS and 4 LEGS!!!!

  • @subhiad That drummer is Zak Starkey, son of Ringo Starr so apparantly it's in the family haha

  • @Darkpietje yes sure he is :)

  • check my vocals out

  • erm Be ready to jump to the world full of pleasure

  • Pretty good one !

  • oh no!!..stick to your own songs Bryan..not believable...no feeling in that, sorry;(

  • Brian Adams can do some great work.

    This is proof.

  • No cover has the depth of feeling of the original. What an honour for Bryan Adams to share the stage with rock royalty and be allowed to add his twist to one of their hits.

  • Everybody slating Limp Bizkit, oi! This is Bryan Adams!

  • @adisily12, this song is actually about an innocent blonde haired blue eyed German in the second world war

  • @13Musicmachine actually this song was written as an olive branch from Pete to Roger the song itself is about Roger and his anger issues.

  • @pty4488 Pete loves to change his mind on songs.

Says something about about the quality when either meaning still works.

  • god i miss Keith Moon

  • @viggy123

I think we all do! But you've got to admit Zak Starkey comes a close 2nd! ;-)

And he was taught how to play by KM....! There are some really good benefits when your Dad is part of the biggest pop band of them all! :-D The Beatles might have been the biggest, but even they knew that The Who was the best! ;-)

  • Great song, he sings it better than the original. I usually hate live music, but I love Bryans live music, its as good as his studio stuff.

  • I dig the higher tone he sings at for this. "...but my dreeeeEEEeeams they aren't as empty...as my coooonscieeeence seeeeems to be..."

  • The best version of this song is Limp Bizkit's and Richie's cover <3 they roooock so hard :)

  • I think Bryan didn`t sing this to bad. Roger hadn`t the powerful voice of old days in the time this were recorded.

    My personal favorites:

    1.: Original by The Who

2.: Cover by Richie Kotzen (very well job done)

3.: The Who feat. Bryan Adams

    4. and worst: Limp Biskit Cover

  • Pete Townshend, man of many mistakes: He let Limb Biscuit do the horrible cover; he let Simon Phillips play with The Who; he let Elton John, Phil Collins and Billy Idol sing for The Who. The last mistake he even committed several times.

  • i don't care about their comments.....the most important is...i love his songs..

  • pos bang if you think the drummer is better than his dad!

  • this song is about pete, it cant be about keith he had brown eyes

  • I like Bryan Adams but this vocal rendition is a total failure.

  • @Levethian Really ? No, Really . . you are tone deaf then

  • Sorry... comment was written badly and was incorrect - I meant to say that the drummer is Zac. The song was about Keith. I have since found the song was written for Lifehouse.

  • how the hell does anyone think this song is about zac ??????????

  • Limp Bizkit version is much much much..... better !

  • @xxxlethalxxxb

I dont think so!... But The Limp Bizkit Version is diferent and its a good version Too!!

  • @xxxlethalxxxb no way in fucking hell....

  • Zac Starkey didn't replace Keith Moon. Kenny Jones replaced Keith Moon. Zac Starkey is Ringo Stars son and this is him but well after Kenny Jones bit with the Who.

  • That is TOTAL GARBAGE!!!

  • AFFFFFFFFFF HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mikeb33 It's not. It's not about Keith Moon, either. The song was originally written for The Who's rock opera Lifehouse (abandoned project). Moon died a good 7 years after this song was written.

  • GeneralDissarray - The drummer is Zac Starkey, who replaced Keith Moon after his death... and about whom this song was written

  • @rjblue42

I've never heard this was about Zac before. Where did you hear that?

  • GeneralDissarray - The drummer is Zac Starkey, who replaced Keith Moon after his death... and about whom this song was written

  • i liked this before i see :)

  • shivers down me spine... amazing

  • excelente video GRANDE BRYAN!!!!!!!!!!

  • excelente video GRANDE BRYAN!!!!!!!!!!

  • i tottaly love bryan he is brilliant

  • The Who <3

  • Not as emotive as Roger

  • My favorite performance of the song. The show is wonderful. Such places as the Royall Albert Hall, Madison Square Garden or Hammersmith Odeon have its own unique atmosphere, and played in their concerts are special. At least in my opinion.

And Limp Bisquit should not even touch this track. They are unworthy.

  • My favorite performance of the song. The show is wonderful. A version of Limb Bisquit is a parody.

  • i have no blue eyes but i like it! 'cuz nobody knows what is behind our eyes

  • @umida0803: no, the Original is from the who and limp bizkit covered this song!

  • @ribery1000 ohhh okay... hhaha

  • I thought this song was originally by Limp Bizkit??

  • @umida0803 no... hahaha

  • @umida0803 the who did this song over 30 years ago....

damn generation of kids these days!

  • this is a fantastic collabaration, bryan adams sounds most unlike himself he has an angst ridden sound

  • like all who have said in the other comments this is just pure fucking greatness

  • This blows me away - my favorite version of this EPIC song. Profound lyrics and timeless moving passionate musical instrumental expression.

  • LONG LIVE PETE!! LONG LIVE THE WHO!!!

  • mandou bem! não me canso de ver e ouvir

  • worst crowd ever

  • oh ,,my blue eyes lady,,,, i love you...

  • My new favorite video! Wish there were more Who/BA videos.. Is it me.. or does BA make the song sound better than the original??

  • love his voice

  • Bryan Adams and The Who? I can officially die happy now.

  • Holy! 3rd fret capo?! That's bloody high for Behind Blue Eyes... though hearing Mr Townshend and Mr Daltry sing that high on the harmonies is kinda funny.

  • bryan adams has the most beautifull voice in the world and he is so down to earth!!he is a reall artist and he can rock the stage so easily!

  • this guy has one of the most beautifull voiceis ever and he is so down to earth!!omg bryan is the best love singer all time!he can rock the stage so easy!

  • i'm a mega who fan and as much as i like bryan's vocals on this performance, i can't believe he screwed up the lyrics. he sang, "... my dreams ARE as empty... ". the correct lyrics go, "... my dreams AREN'T as empty... ". a minor quibble, yeah, but still... sheesh.

  • Too bad Limp Bizkit ruined this song! Noone can do it better Than BA!

  • Amazing, Bryan!! Excellent!! But then I am never disappointed in anything he sings.

what a gifted, talented musician...a genius!

  • Delicious !!!!!

  • Look at Moose!!

  • I want an mp3 to thisd versiooon!

any idea where I can get it?

  • @simpleplanloverrr any p2p program (limewire, etc)

  • Zach Starkey is the bollox - can hold his own with any drummer

  • @garryness1969 --agreed ...without a morsel of dissent!

He is VERY talented. The concert(s) for George Harrison--he shines there, too.

    The Who-New York shows--he's superb.

  • Feel sorry for the drummer...Living up to Keith moon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCK THAT!!!

  • great great ! ! ! !

  • The drummer is Ringo's son Zach Starkey!

  • Wow, amazing. Bryan rocks the Who.. <3

  • This was in 2001. When he was i think 40 here.

  • I love this man he rocks :D

  • Bryan Adams rocks! best singer ever!

  • @mauadams Best singer ever? Yah, he is damn good but that is one hell of an over statement!

  • I love this song! It's awesome to hear Bryan Adams sing & of course, The Who is classic. I'll always be a Bryan Adams fan!! Rock on :)

  • 10 out of 10 for the drummer, looks rather young to be playing the Who

  • @GeneralDissarray

GD, that is Ringo Starr's son - Zak Starkey. Who was taught how to play by the master himself... Keith moon... :-)

  • @GeneralDissarray

    it's zak starkey (ringo's son)

  • @GeneralDissarray he's Ringo's son.

  • @GeneralDissarray The drummer is Zach Starkey. Ringo Starr's son.

  • @GeneralDissarray thats zak starkie (ringo's son) he was give a drum kit by keith and a drumming leason too

  • @GeneralDissarray I believe that is Ringo Starr's son, Zach Starkey. He actually got his first drum lesson from Keith Moon

  • @GeneralDissarray Zak Starkey my friend! Keith Moon's godson

  • @GeneralDissarray

Thats the incredible Zak Starkey taught by The Great Moon The Loom himself

  • @H1GhVoL7aGe He is also Ringo's son.

  • @GeneralDissarray That's Zak Starkey Ringo's son.. He also played with Oasis for a while as well

  • @GeneralDissarray The drummer is Zak Starkey... Ringos son!

  • @GeneralDissarray its probably ringo star's son

  • Ok.. so I saw Bryan Adams a few hours ago in the BJCC concert hall in Alabama. A few months ago I saw clapton and Roger opened for him. THIS IS PUTTING THEM TOGETHER!!!! Magic. :3

  • waaaaaa...amaaazing! much better then the original!

it is his voice...it is the special sound of his voice...just amazing and great to listening him. i love to hear him...the way how he´s singing. fantastic!

  • this is cool. only if he does more music with the who how cool would that be

  • that was awesome!

  • this song is fair to say my everyday life. I love it

  • The wrong lyrics are irritating, but its good otherwise :)

  • @gurlpookiegurl --ya caught those too ?

Dreams are(n't) as empty, etc ....

I do like Bryan's rough hewn canadian voice---but it lacks the lifetime of survived weariness to pull this song off. Daltry and Townsend can do it.

Still one of the best "Covers" I've heard any one do.

I'd still like Sir Anthony Hopkins to read/sing these lyrics---with his blue eyes.

A James Galway pennywhistle thrown in for good measure...??

  • @rwwagsneb While I love Bryan Adams, I agree with you that he just doesn't quite pull this song off. Having heard both Roger and Pete sing this song over the years, it is really difficult to think that anyone else could ever come close to interpreting it adequately. Roger's version always has that tinge of anger to it, and his voice has a growl to it that I've not ever heard anyone else duplicate. Pete's version has the depth of feeling that only the author of the song could ever truly know.

  • Excellent, Bryan! I'm sure diehard Who fans may have been disapponted that Daultry didn't sing this, but Bryan did kick ass on this song!! YOU ROCK, BRYAN!!!

  • magadia

  • lol he is looking at the lyrics :D good one tho..

  • Behind Blue Eyes

  • Love Bryan

  • He kicks ass.

  • This is seriously incredible. Bryan is amazing. There is no other Bryan.

I just wish I was born 20 years earlier so I would have remembered when he was HUGE. Selling out arena shows all over the world, because all the videos i have seen of it are incredible.

  • @itsmydestinytolive

why? he is stil on tour... I've seen him once in 2008 and it was simply awesome. I'm looking so much foward for June, when he is coming again to Berlin... (btw. I'm 28 ;)) So it doesn't matter how old you are, the concerts are still incredible. Visit one if you have a chance and you won't regret it...

  • @itsmydestinytolive LONG LIVE PETE!!! LONG LIVE THE WHO!!!

  • Wow! Beautiful!!

  • OMG... goosebumps :D

  • i tell ya. i celebrate his entire catologue. seriously!

  • love the who and bryan, seen bryan in concert near on 200 times and he always knocks it out of the park!

  • Pretty Good! I love the Who, B.A is great too but I rather hear them seperately, this didn't sound like it came from a real place. But he gets away with it :)

  • Oh this is too cool.

  • Great Performance and great music..

  • Ah man, it doesn'y get much better than this; Bryan Adams singing Behind Blue Eyes. I saw him in concert...he is absolutely amazing!

  • bryan has a powerfull voice!

  • Bryan is almost more Daltry than Daltry Im blown away.

  • people say bryan fell off. bryan has certainly not fallen off. he may not command the arena shows like he once did,but he still rocks. his collaboration here with the who is proof that bryan is a rocker at heart and not a balladeer. his gigs are amazing. they rock just as much as this performance.

  • I think its Zack Starkey on drums (Ringo's son)

  • @coulp01

    yeah it's ringo's son

    when was this recorded?

  • shit, entiwistle on bass, fuck yeah! who is on drums?

  • Amazing... best version ever!

  • Very very very good stuff

  • Best version ever!

  • WoW,

    Just so fucking nice,

What a great voice that men have,,

  • The "And if I swallow anything evil, put your finger down my throat, and if I shiver give me a blanket, keep me warm let me wear your coat." line gives me chills everytime I hear it, Keith's drumming on it is so dramatic that it evokes so many emotions and fits the lyrics perfectly, and the vocal harmony that comes in there accentuates the importance of that whole line as well. I think the original is a masterpiece. This performance is excellent, the singing has pure emotion in it.

  • supurb comment !!!!

  • Thanks!!

  • this is how it's supposed to be.....best song ever, and cracking performance by all, especially Bryan....

  • he sings this real good in my opinion, has feel and tone

  • this is not bad at all.......but limp bizkit style is more like it should be :) sad and sarow.....not as live and happy like this......

  • limp bizkit stole the song....and i thaught it was going to be a disaster when i heard but it was very good....i still like THE WHO'S version better though....

  • whell xD it's not stolen it's just......remade :P

  • yea stolen wasnt very good word choice was it ...lol
