This is BS our bunker busters can go down over 300 feet, he just said that radiation doesnt go far underground so that means its contained. All tests since 1962 are illegal partial test ban treaty. (some states still do it cough north korea) the nuclear weapons are quite small. Chernobyl let of thousands of times more radiation then our biggest nukes. I agree that there are better methods for bunker breaking, but the proposed method in the video has failed countless times before. I mean honestly, don't you think that's what we are currently doing?
That's the standard plan, the problem is it's simply impossible to know every exit and enter point in a defensive bunker without inside intelligence. Furthermore, any strategically valuable bunker (ESPECIALLY nuclear / bio) would have a system in place for a collapse.

Its like pulling the pin of a handgrenade than putting it in a plastic bag. You must know that a missile doesnt have the kinetic power to penetrate deep below earths surface. If it could go 100mtrs deep it might be a different story, as it is now you have a nuke going off in a shallow pit.

Its impossible for rocket even to penetrate lets say 15mtrs of solid rock before detonation, best performing bunkerbuster were WW2 ones from the british, they could penetrate about 5m of concrete, how can you call that subsurface if you talking bout a nuclear explosion of a megaton?

1. B61 Mod 11 has a MAX yield of 340kt, though thought to be 10kt (1% of what they say in the video).
2. 70% focused forward
Put those together, it's equivalent to a ~100 kt blast AT MOST, only 10 percent of what this drivel says. These projections are so far off, it's pretty funny. I wonder why I've never heard about the "millions" that were killed in California, Colorado, Texas, Kansas, and Oklahoma by the fallout from 928 nuclear tests.

reason why this might cause major death? maybe because its detonated in a densily populated area, as opposed to a desert or deserted island. its really not rocket science although it is.
