@FreestyleBoy001 Yes, BA operate A318's to New York; the flights are business class, the tickets are very expensive. They have a stop over in Ireland I think.
it's good, but your landing was not already right.. I've heard about a second ago the standard procedure for an a318 is with Reverser to going backwards..
@roryj123ok Of course you can use reverse thrust at LCY, in fact we do on every landing at LCY, BECAUSE it is a short runway, why wouldn't you use reverse thrust??? The noise level externally only increases slightly anyway. if you don't know don't post :P
@FireInTheSkies if you dont believe me type in Flying into London City on a CityJet BAe-146 skip to 2 minutes and 55 seconds just paste the link and take out the brakets
@drummingpilot that is not true what you are talkin about! BA offers a special flight from london city to JFK with an a318 just for business people ;) at first i did not believe that as well because a a318 above the atlantic?? haha very strange but true man ;)

@roryj123ok Thanks mate, but the program is either out of date or just plain wrong, on the Embraer we always use MIN reverse, as do the Airbus crews.
As taken from website lcacc.org/noise/nms.html (London City Airport Authority)
".....The use of reverse thrust on the landing roll should be kept to the minimum required for the necessary deceleration of the aircraft......"
These rules form the basis of the airfield briefing material we adhere to when we operate into LCY.

@FireInTheSkies thanks for that

at first: an a318 can't fly over the atlantic......
