For those who love this movie and consider it one of the most romantic of cinema, [i do], i highly recommend- 'When Night Is Falling.', a small film from director Patricia Rozema, made in the 80's. There are scenes of it on utube, but they spoil the surprises of the film. Just as poetic, lyrical and beautiful. I haven't seen any others that match these two.
i did watch WNIF based oon ur recommendation and i enjoyed every bit of it. the characters camile and petra were so real, the emotions were powerfully expressed and there are a lot of scenes where art simply reaches its culminating point. simply fabulous.
i however wish some would post this movie The Lover (possible in English). this seems to b a rare gem. i undastand y some ppl dont like this movie, due to age factor.
