I wish that I had formal instruction in use of R. As someone who tried to get into it completely independently and apply it to my research, I felt totally lost and that it would be clearly a loosing proposition. Even the first time I tried to install it an error was thrown and I can't use it at all. Searched and found other people had the same problem... and it pretty much ended there.
