I am a Buddhist... but I read the Bible cover to cover many times... because the teachings in it hold value. and in the new testament there were many stories of Jesus; but please understand that these stories were recorded in text after Jesus died and some 100 years after his resurrection to heaven. So we must take an open mind when reading the Bible; but as a Buddhist I find the teachings of Jesus to worthy - especially - believe not my words but my actions (in the Bible that story was longer).

I am a Buddhist... but I read the Bible cover to cover many times... because the teachings in it hold value. and in the new testament there were many stories of Jesus; but please understand that these stories were recorded in text after Jesus died and some 100 years after his resurrection to heaven. So we must take an open mind when reading the Bible; but as a Buddhist I find the teachings of Jesus to worthy - especially - believe not my words but my actions (in the Bible that story was longer).

The term, "jewish" didn't even exist until after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, Son of God. Before then, the "jews" were under Judaism. They were the "others" who didn't follow Jesus, and only followed what was in the Old Testament. Thus, why when you look up, "jewish" or "jew" for the religious term it'll say something relating to exiles.
