I believe 160 characters is standard for all networks. You can most likely type longer than that, it'll just send it in multiple messages to the recipient.

If you go back in september he posted on his twitter and his website the copyright and the megaupload link to the video for anyone and everyone to blow youtube up with the video. Reason for that was RIM and google keep deleting his videos for copyright. I will email the link to his wewbsite and twitter link as will. Now get off my, you know what not even worth it. i'm not just talking about when it's "on"... if u turn the clicking off... u can still hear clicking because the screen pushes in and out and is never quiet.. this is reason why i decided to go with an HTC Android because a sophisticated touch screen shouldnt have to do that... I really love the build of the Storm, but get it together RIM!

Storm two has multipul sensors now to allow your to click the left, right, top, or bottom now. rather than an entire Huge button. This helps out allot!
