  • endless nameless!!!!!! oh wait....

  • The drumming sounds like "Endless, Nameless" by Nirvana.

  • the moment i seen this on the shelf at a local store i bought it and i never regretted it... its one of those dvds people always say "heyyy i never seen this before put it on"

  • sinceramente digo: la cancion va muy rapida

  • Awesome drum solo eargasm all the way!!!

  • What show is this?

  • @DrMantecol i'm not sure, but i think it's the show where they recorded "over the years and through the woods"... don't name the name though...

  • @DrMantecol Brixton Academy, London. 2005 I think. And it is the "Over the years and through the Woods" DVD.

  • 2:13 - 2:51...... HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That guy that threw whatever the hell that was near 0:11 is lucky Josh didn't see that..

  • almost all their stuff is performed faster when they play live, and it sounds even better that way, so quit whining and enjoy the amazing eargasm that is Queens of the Stone Age!!!

  • This song is magic.. it's so fast but you can trip to it :D

  • honestly, i dont see a big difference between joey and dave. and honestly, it doesnt matter that much. as long as the musics good, man.

  • shit man joeys drums sound fantastic

  • I think i like Hillsong better. :)

  • I had to listen to this because the original recorded version just seems too slow. i like the song at this speed.

  • fantastic isnt it! so much energy xD

  • Insane!

  • I like the way Dave plays this song better, but the performance is made better by Joey playing so fast. It makes the whole thing so much more energetic and powerful.

  • this is my opinion. I do think dave grohl is a better drummer and when he plays its pure sex. BUT i think joey fits into queens of the stone age the best and he will probably be their permanent drummer, i don't know why they play faster in songs like this and song for the dead but it was most likely josh's decision, its not like joey was going too fast and the other members had to catch up. and when they play the songs that joey drummed on in the recordings live he plays it normal speed limit.

  • Notice how they stretch time the same way at the same parts. They play with the time to keep their performance interesting.

I see no difference in Joey's ability to play this song in comparison to Dave's, and Joey's break is a lot more technical and is just as directional as Dave's.

The boosted speed feeds excitement into the crowd, particularly after the drum solo.

You can tell by Josh's tone in the grand pause that he's feeling the performance, and I would be too.

  • not best performance of Avon, the one feat dave Grohl is the best by far... better drumming

  • Deal with it man..

  • You know I think they actually do that on purpose.

  • yea its on purpose to make themselves look better, they think a drummer that can play faster is a drummer that can play better but i would rather hear a drummer play a song the way a song is meant to be played and at a pace the rest of the band can play too.

  • dude every instrument is fast in this. Ur just a dumbass.

  • best performance of avon ever

  • glastonbury 2002 man, although that one's pretty good though.

if i'm correct this video is from the over the years dvd

  • it seems as if the footage has been sped up a little..

  • natasha Schneider

  • Tasha Schneider

  • ahh who is the woman

  • Tasha Schneider

  • Greatest one fuckin ever!

  • Good Drumer

  • best song of the 1st album - ok ..with if only ^^

  • Fucking sick.

  • Finally someone uploads it!
