This is a really great technique. I have been looking for ways to make bezels and all I found was other people looking for the same thing online. I find metal bezels a little to expensive to 'experiment' with so my heal is full of ideas - initial pendants, 4 leaf clovers, heart key chains for valentines day, I'm even going to cut out a bone shape and image transfer my phone number in it and fill it with resin for a fun dog ID tag - Thanks!
Do powders stay permanent in clay after they are baked or do you have to seal them to stop the powders and pigments from running in the rain or rubbing off?
@uniformgrey In my experience they stay on pretty well. I have actually tried to scratch it off and it stayed on, but if you want it to last years and years I would dab on some future floor finish (a.k.a pledge with future floor shine a.k.a plegde one go). If you don't want a 'varnished' look just lightly buff with white acrylic nail buffing block and then rub wth a soft cloth.
That was really cool. I've never heard of a bezel cup before this.

@uniformgrey They do stay but to make sure all of the pigment stays you can seal it.
