Remember the riots in Oujda and Jerada in 1948? Many innocent Jewish civilians were ruthlessly killed by their neighbors. Obviously, news spread quickly to Jews in other cities about what had happened and fear and anxiety prompted so many Jews to leave for Israel and France in search of more opportunities and safety

 Just to make it clear the events you are describing did happen but not in large scale. You need to differ from what some minority groups did to the official policy of the King that was and is still in favor of the Jewish life in morocco.
