This is probably my favorite game of all time. It gets horrible reviews, since it really has nothing to do with its prequel, Chrono Trigger. But in all honesty, its storyline, twists and turns, as well as its creativity was amazing. I have played it over 300 times, making my discs unreadable. :D

So yes, it is a great, great game.

Nothing to do? I haven't played the game but saw a play through. Lucca from chrono trigger had alot to do with the story, as well as belthazar, even crono and Marle have a small minor role. Magus was supposed to be in here, but didn't make it for whatever.
