  • Ever play the Super Nintendo Donkey Kong games? The animations and graphics were so pretty for the time. Those are my favorites from childhood. Also the Super Star Wars games.

  • Apologies, I mean't 'check out.'

  • Want a game with some old school credentials? Check owe El Shaddi: Ascention Of The Metatron.

  • Enjoy the final fantasy's if you get to gamer83, they're definitely worth it. Final fantasy viii is pretty underrated.

  • I started off unlike a lot of kids. They played Mario, I played a lot of Contra and Super C for NES. They played Super Mario World and final fantasy, I played UN Squadron, Metal Warriors, and Chrono Trigger. Basically, I played the games people underrate or have never heard of, even to this day. Not a lot of people will know what UN Squadron was. And to this day, I still haven't beaten it. XD

  • Mine was a mc donalds game for the first saga. :D

  • my first game is that mario game where they race i forgot what it was called it was for nitendo 64

  • Thumbs up if the SNES controller is your favourite controller of all time.

  • Super smash bros smash i think it was called for 64 that was very fun it was amazing ahah i remember me and brother would just sit and play for hours ahah i was so exsided when i beat the hand

  • MD as Final Fantasy is my favourite game series you must play 7 8 & 9 you'll love them . Confession I cryed at the end of 9 I did not want the game to end its a beautiful game 4 discs of heaven & 7 is my all time favourite game mind you Skyrim could come close will only know when I complete it done 275 hours thus far .

  • MD a big thanks for doing the retro vlogs as a RPG & retro fan-boy I love them as I said when I asked for them I think they will add to your channel I'd actually review 1 retro classic game per week

  • I think the Mass Effect games have the best way to handle cinematics and cutscenes, which is to make them interactive dialogue scenes. You get the same "cool off" time after some exciting combat gameplay while still involving the player and not boring them with the doings of frustrated filmmakers (the MGS games probably being the worst offenders in that regard.) I feel games should (for the most part) involve the player as much as possible.

  • whoa, that's weird. I've never seen a PS one like that. I just had one that connected to the TV.

  • My first system was a snes. SF2, Mega manX, MK, and Mario bros were my first.

  • I was into Nintendo for a long time, started off with the NES, I too had the gold cartridge Zelda, also loved a game called paperboy on the NES. I went onto Super NES, N64, Gamecube and Wii before switching to Xbox 360. Very interesting video, keep them coming.

  • its kinda sad when we need to get on a xbox to get fit

  • got to love contra omg love that game!!!! and btw the part where you are acting out the star wars kinect demo i lmfao for about ten min hahahaha still greatness

  • AHHHHH i have that sonic game!!!!

  • I really enjoy her video's so far. A lot of ppl on youtube, try to come off as, acting like they are something that they're not. I think, since she is giving her honest, real opinion of games and memories with them, make watching her videos, a much more personal experience and comes off as someone relateable and very likeable. Just saying, I'm entertain by her so far ;)

  • @sonicheroes1982 Thank you :)

  • I started off getting spammed with a jump kick in MK by my uncle I played a lot of arcade machines which I don't believe people give enough respect then I got my very own ps1 that my mom won in a contest and I've been a Sony boy ever since

  • Are we going to get married soon?

  • Conker's Bad Fur Day for the nintendo 64 best game ever

  • I love the classic games of the past, but games such as Mass Effect1,2,3 and the Assassin's Creed series, are the best representatives of what future games should aspire to in terms of transforming games into a more cinematic experience. There is definitely room in the industry for both types of games :)

  • If u havnt played fina fantasy 7 u really need to play it. It is the best old school style rpg ever made. Every final fantasy since that hasn't even come close. final fantasy 3 was also really good on the snes but the graphics and building up mechanics weren't as good. The first game console I had was a nintendo and the first game mario, here I am 23 years later and I still love gaming.

  • Also, I gotta ask about that poster in the background. what's the story on that??? are those actual signatures??? and who of??? where did ya get it???

  • @BillytheCrayon i think those are the names of the first 100 subscribers!

  • @BillytheCrayon I have a video about that poster. I made that poster when I hit 100 subs. I asked my subscribers their favorite games and the top 3 were Mass Effect, Fallout 3, and Megtal Gear Solid. Then I wrote all 100 subs on the poster, that's what the writing is :)

  • @gamermd83 That is just awesome. I wish i did that before i hit 400 hehe. I love your channel, I'm a huge fan of the story and lore behind video games, and you get so deep into it, that i end up getting a nerdgasm. I love it when you talk nerdy to me baby :)

  • My favorite game to this day, is Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past. 2nd favorite, is one that revolutionized first person shooters, Goldeneye 007, for the N64. I have to agree about the gaming gimmicks, that are becoming popular right now. I feel the Nintendo Wii, Xbox Kinect, and PS Move are all gimmicks. The hardcore games all stayed as controller based, and I think they will stay that way. I can't play a game for hours on end, if it means I have to be active while playing it.

  • I started with super mario brothers and duck hunt. Everyone played. Mom,Dad my brother and sister. Then we got metal gear and i was hooked.

  • You have Sonic2! That is the game that got me into gaming and its sound track, specifically the Chemical Plant soundtrack, is what got me into music!

I have to find a Genesis. They must exist somewhere.

I guess while I'm at it I'll try to find an NES as well. My oldest memories in general is with the NES. Mario/Duck Hunter, The Hunt For Red October, Godzilla Monster of Monsters, A TMNT game with an underwater level I could never beat. A naval WW2 game I played with my dad. Good times.

  • You have to play Final Fantasy 8. You would really like it. Final Fantasy 7 is really cool but you have to go into it expecting nothing. People expect it to be the greatest usually end up disappointed (I got it in 1999 when I was 11 or 12 with my Christmas money because all my friends at my new high school were talking about it). I got up to the "Junkyard" and quit playing when I couldn't find a way out lol :( took until 3 months for me to figure it out. Was well worth it though!

  • @sketchesdilhan Final FantasyVIII is actually the only FF game that I got at least half way and I was REALLY liking it. Very fun and loved the characters.

  • @gamermd83 awesome! The cards quest is stupidly addictive in FFVIII too. I got them both on my PS3 and rendered the graphics which makes it much more bearable in 2012. FFVII is amazing, it will always remain my favourite, but only 'cos it caught me at the right age/time (graphics/generation wise), etc. Even amazing quality "old" games like Shen Mue (Dreamcast) and Xenosaga (PS1) were great but FFVIII came at the perfect time for the "distraught future" look in games (like Fallout3)

  • @gamermd83 Ah Starfox. That is the first game that ever hit me on an emotional level. You remember the hard ending just before Fox escaped the exploding tunnel with help from the ghost of his dad and he says " You've become so strong Fox" And Fox looks out the cockpit to find his dad and he's no longer there? That scene...damn. That was the first game, in my experience, to prove that they can be more than something to waste time on. There was actually something to experience with that game.

  • My favorite Old Skool game is the Commodore 64 "Law of the West". You got to pick your answers to the computer people and try to disarm them with words, capture, flirt or Kill. All in a days work as the Sheriff

  • I fucking love FFVIII. that one is my all time favorite final fantasy game. I fell in love with the cutscenes and every since been a final fantasy fan. well just final fantasy VIII

  • so u wouldnt want to be plugged into the game like the Matrix xD

  • Awesome! Lol it. Keep up the good work!! I should di more of theres, there my favorites now! :)
