I was talking about the JUN prelude, by far the best shop attempt at tuning one. I used to have a 4th gen like the one in the video, so i agree with you too I prefer preludes to civics. Then I built an integra with an h2b swap,the power of an h series without the crappy trans, and unfortunate mass of a prelude, but I still miss my 4th gen. p.s. I had a 3ed gen prelude with 4ws too, so much fun for such a slow old car.

anyone else get the feeling that spoon is pretty much only business orientated? there just seems to be something really cold and calculated about them, kind of like arnie during the olympia. where as alot of the other tuners seem more passionate. re amemiya for example. i used to think they were the sh*t but hot version always seem to rate them harshly

wider tires have lower height which takes out some of the sidewall flex. when running on a street compound the rigid side walls can easily overcome the street tires in hard cornering and take you from grip to slip more easily than a flexible sidewall.....my 2 cents.

It took them 3 years to tune that car! Good parts aren't easily available for them and they absolutely suck stock. If you choose another one of those cars and tune it well, it will perform better and require a lot less time then 3 years to get the same level of performance.

All the parts from JUN are readily available, Skunk2 even makes an even more aggressive set of cams. The Euro R intake manifold can even be purchased custom machined to fit for not much more in cost than aftermarket ones. This video is old and most people who think they suck stock only have come across high mileage non vtec models.
