I have a problem with black ops well the alterops version.

When i make a custom class for my weapons it does not save, sometimes it gets suck at downloading game settings, and sometimes not but when i join a server i see that the custom class took effect i can see for example rapidfire or a new weapon but when i enter the game i pick my class its just the default one how can i fix this. Help !!
