Ehh.. films are never exciting because there's no sense of danger. He could walk into a wall of bullets and deflect them with his hands. 1000 martial arts masters could pile into him, and he'd flick them aside like flies with sweeping hand motions. The film basically casts him as a deadpan Mr. Invulnerable (what an ego he must have). Hero's are more exciting to watch when they are slightly human with weaknesses and the fights are tense. I usually root for his enemies!
A lot of people consider "Under Siege" to be Seagal's masterpiece. Although I like all of his early films, I disagree that Under Siege is his masterpiece. I say that Out for Justice is it!
Just got the blu ray. I dug Above the Law so i figured this might be worth a shot. Didnt know it was filmed in Brooklyn either, im from Bay ridge myself.
I'm watching it right now on AMC! This flick is most DEFINITELY an early-90's Brooklyn classic. Shot on-location right in our great borough. (Not some nut-ass Holly-weird backlot. Lol) BTW, one more thing...I heard Seagal actually lived on Staten while filming this great movie. Is that true? I mean, with the Verrazano and all, it would've made sense.
@kingash45bc I agree 100% but we a have a brainwashed generation now that have been raised on porn & are yet so conditioned to be polictically correct do just wouldn't get the 'Cowboys' of our generation in today's faggoty 'OMG' World. There seems to have been a plan in place in the last 10 years or so to 'combine' the sexes & ridicule anyone that thinks different, obviously it's worked brilliantly with the little sheep we have now! AND nobody misses the REAL action stars you named more than me.
anybody here know the title of the movie, where seagal is breaking the arms of long haired black guys and at the ending he pinch the eye of the black guy...I've been looking for ...
Great film with a good story and characters.

Gino:"Next time you see richie, tell him I'm gonna cut off his head and piss down his throat,"
Vinnie:"FUCK YOU!"
(Gino grabs Vinnie head and smashes it on the bar in which breaks his nose)
That, in my opinion, is 1 of the best parts of the film

the trailer makes the film look so silly. But in reality the film is a very serious and violent film. In my opinion Seagals best movie.
