Wade is obviously a better defender and attacker in either the PG or SG position. We have seen that in the past. Playing wade at PG not only gives him more opportunities to assist his teammates and also allows to dictate the points. I think wade can at least slow down rose compared to the other PG the heat have. And even if wade doesn't score much, he can rely on james and bosh to score by providing them with assists.
