I have a friend that knows bout stuff like that he knows how to work on cars. He has a honda hatchback 800hp but he was tellin me that the cams don't cost a lot (I'm in Texas area)

Yep, they don't, but you have to get a lot of small stuff to install them like gaskets, bolts, a tune

Oh, about 1000 for the cam and install kit (springs, etc.)

But i also have no cats, true-duals etc, so the sound is from there mostly.

It was done after cam, tune, CAI etc, so no, overall i have increase everywhere, the truck jumps from idle.
