  • They were both okay btw. They weren't hurt.

  • brave rescuer!!!

  • RESCUE !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I wish I was there with a bible and blessed them ... Thanks god they survived better luck next time ...lol.

  • Both survived. The one who didn't throw his reserve thought that he was coming down at an acceptable descent rate, so he needn't chuck it. Crazy -- it could have quickly got a lot worse. But he got away with it.

  • This is beyond stupidity

  • Hey ZIXIA, put on english subs on the vid..

  • Could any Korean speaker please traslate the key points of this video? Why did not the first guy deploy the reserve parachute, even if he was plenty of time to do it? Thanks

  • Middle air collision, a paraglider can't break in this way, even in extreme conditions (that's not the case).

The one without reserve seem to descend slow enough and fall on a trees area, it might survived.

Guess at the end there are the both pilots telling their point of view about the accident.

  • i still don't know what happened with the glider,i hope he survived and no big injuries

  • s-a rupt parapanta....oricum abia astept sa incerc sportl asta.

  • that wasnt too bad :)

  • To "TheGodParticle":

You Musn't forget that the pilots competing in this championship are not your average paragliders. To perform well in a ranking competition you've got to push yourself and your glider to their limits. Don't let these extreme's (because that is what this foutage shows you) hold you from expieriencing the wonderfull "World of Paragliding"

    Greetz, a paraglider.

  • i take it paragliding is as dangerous as one wants it to make, you can go for a calm ridge sea cliff flight and just land on a beach or top land, or you can test your luck in dense vegetation and different mountainous terrain air, also competitions are generally intense and people are more brazen, and push gliders to their limits as they chase the thermals

  • ...muitos glider's juntos na mesma termal só pode dar nisto mesmo!! Saúde aí p/ os acidentados...

  • That was scary, i'm glad to see their all ok. i was thinkig of taking up this sport one day but might pass now.

  • paragliding is really incredible sport and chance that something like this happens to you is one in a million..always that somebody asks me how dangerous paragliding is,i tell him/her that it's more dangerous to take your car for a spin

  • @juresmolnikar Bullshit, I hope you're not a paraglider cause with that thinking you're sure to die !

  • @juresmolnikar I completly agree with your comment. After i have driven to a flying site i always say to my self the most dangerous part is over.

  • Well, if you avoid flying too close to other pilots, you could at least pass on this particular sort of accident :)

  • Just try it, Dont die just wondering.. we're only here once. Training will be really gradual.. 2 or 3 meters abouv ground, This footage looks like adverse weather conditions.

  • i guess his wing was torn apart...?

  • Hope he was OK. I'm guessing that he was knocked out and couldn't throw silk. Despite the comments of one of the English speakers here; all paragliding pilots are brothers irrespective of race or nation.

  • kin ka kunk u jka?+ ja king ullu ti alla?+ alala balla kinga.... lol chinese fuck!!

  • thats korean fyi...idiot

  • what ever the fuck he said, ya

  • Damn Americans are racist. What's wrong with you people? He was tangled but enough resistance to descend pretty slowly I thought?

  • @Capnwabbit

Sorry Bro. Its not all americans that are so fucking stupid. I am sorry for those stupid comments that these people make.

  • apoco ya son tantisimos como para que tambien halla tanto trafico en el aire y no quepan?? jajaja es broma. saludos.

  • hahah

  • Looks like a air colission ... saw that already one time (if youre cratch the wing with your feeds by collition. maybe he was insensible ... hope everyone is fine.

  • that's why u always have to have pg/hg acro competitions over water! but where's his reserve?

  • that's why u always have to have pg/hg acro competitions over water! but where's his reserve?

  • Are they fine? If so... A lot of luck, I guess! Fly save.

  • Where's the subtitles ?

  • Say what you like about this, but tht dude on the reserve he didnt look safe either, and what i read they dont use a backup (reserve) thatis not very smart is itif you wanna do it more than 1 time.

  • he may have been flying without a reserve

  • If they/he didnt pull their reserve its either because they could'nt ie line wrapped around them which could be made worse by another chute. Or felt it might make the situation worse ie lines around neck I doubt VERY much anybody or event organiser would be f**king stupid enough to not fly with a reserve in a comp no matter what country they are in or from. Hope everyone was OK. Most comp accidents are either turbulance or mid air collisions.. Its not funny and its not clever . Fly safe

  • Was the person that had the torn parawing all right? one of them was able to successfully pull his reserve.

  • I'm a chinese paraglider... :(

  • What the heck are you saying?!

  • I see, you are Japanese, typical making fun of Koreans. Oh well... Nobody is offended.

  • LMFAO @ Pendejo14. Hahahahaha

  • and u r japanese right? :) japs... lol

  • oh god bla bla bla so what it could happen anywhere else in the world!

  • @kei1999

What sort of low of human being you are Man. You just saw two people got fatally hurt.

  • @persiantraveler I'm sorry that two people died. But I didn't talk about them. I talked about the security level of China and Korea. You don't get it.
