Cute ads but Telus are still bloody crooks like the rest of Canadian cell phone carriers. My Telus plan used to cost me $40 a month and I used my phone maybe 100 minutes a month, maybe. That's 40 cents a minute which is obviously a complete rip. Hope one day a big company like Vodaphone comes to Canada and kicks the like of Telus, Bell and Rogers in their collective asses.

@ethicomm there will never be phones as cheap as US carriers with the coverage of Telus and Bell. Our population density up here is pretty low, so Telus has to spend more money to cover more population, and in turn, costs alot more.

@cfire600 You've got a good point and it makes sense. It's funny but they say more people are giving up their landline phones in favor of cells. Personally, I'm keeping my landline. After all, I can talk for 50 or 60 hours a month and it would only cost me $35 a month!

@ethicomm It is cheap, but most people are getting rid of them for the convienience. instead of paying $50.00 for your cell plan and $35 for your landline, for a total of $85, most people are getting rid of landlines because they have their cells on them 24/7.

My piece of shit "chocolate" phone snapped in my jeans pocket while bending over.

I'm on a 3 year plan, and the phone is quite obviously not capable of surviving 3 years.

Telus's stance is that they are the service provider and cant do anything about it.Call LG

LG's stance is the warranty is up.Call Telus.

Seems they have quite the little loophole to avoid responsibility.

Does anyone know of any class action lawsuits against telus for this kind of ignorant bullshit? pm me if so.

@SkInHoUnD I dare you to sue telus. not many people have succeeded. and Telus does offer a Device protection plan which is kinda like insurance for your phone. plus the chocolate series was friggin garbage. cept the BL40.

You are mistaken. I am the animal trainer that did this commercial. The zoo did become criticized for her enclosure, however, the money the made from the commercial was allocated towards her new building, which was built as soon as the weather was good enough.

No. the vancouver zoo who housed Hazina (the hippo) didn't provide adequate housing. TELUS donated $20,000 to a new shelter for Hazina.
