  • i wana join a vietnam reenactment but i cant find any in so. cal.

  • this dosnt look like 1970 video is this reinactments?

  • sick

  • How do you represent endless wave of VC or NVA, one falls and gets back up?

  • Nice firebase build-out. Us Florida reenactors are jealous. Need to add smoke effects when the tower is taken out, to give the battlefield some ambiance. :)

  • great vid

  • no offence but yall arms is a little bit to skinny , granted that cant be helped and it is an awesome reenactment, sorry if i come of as a douche

  • No offense taken, but there are thousands of pictures taken during the Vietnam War of skinny 19 year old grunts with scrawny arms. I personally do not have skinny arms, but many of our 19 year olds do.

  • yea ive seen video were their legs just look like sticks

  • @zimfan20 Many soldiers have a reduction muscle mass while overseas constant combat and supply issues can contribute to this and a lack of PT inside the wire or on base will too

  • im in a sog unit were can i get a blank firing M16

  • Hello,

Not so sure. All ours are real. Wish I could help.

  • ok so were can i get a hold of a real one

  • What state do you live in? Is it even legal to own one where you live. You will need a Pre-ban AR15 with a removable flash hider. That way you can install the blank adapter

  • blank firing adapters are meant to be installed over the "birdcage" flash suppressor.

  • For reenactment and movie production, you NEVER use an "Over The birdcage" BFA. You use what is called a "Hollywood" BFA. The hot load blanks we use would destroy a stock GI BFA as well as possibly damage our weapon. I do have a question, if it requires a over the birdcage BFA, then how are we cycling our weapons with the blanks in the video??

  • i didn't mean that requires a GI BFA, i meant it was an option. that's what we (USAF) use for our exercises. and to answer your question, it's obvious your weapons are cycling blanks without the GI BFA, i'm not stupid.

  • I wasnt calling you stupid, but you need to clarify your statement rather than making the one you did.

  • wat do u use blanks?

  • ok question my friend has a m14 with out a bayo lug and he doesnt know how to blank adopted it do u know what to use?

  • This is awesome, where do you guys do this?

  • Damn if you wernt so far away id be there. No one any where close to here does any vietnam Reenactments.

  • so airsoft

  • NO AIRSOFT. All these weapons are real firing full powder charge blanks.

  • o oo o thats cool

  • But what confuses me about re-enactments are that if you're firing blanks, how do you know if you're hit, and, if so, do you just stay down, and if so, for how long?

  • are U kiding does any of this look like Airsoft lol

  • Makes you wonder about these guys, huh old buddy?

  • Oh yeah, I know exactly what you mean!

  • Nice authentic reenactment there. The only thing that gets me about reenactments of this era are the occasional 300 white as day NVA soldier holding an AK47 that looks almost like a toy because of the fat bastards massive size...lol

  • I have similar problems...

  • Would love to have you. These are actual weapons adapted to fire blanks.

  • how does someone know when there hit if there blanks?

  • It is all an honor system. When you are caught out in the open you just have to fall down. It really isn't so much about who got who, it is for the experience.

  • are u shootin with real bullets???

  • no. These are blanks

  • isn't this that one emily place in oregon...

  • Yes it is

  • hell yeah

    nice vid man love it!

  • Take note of the sexy beast between 5:00 and 5:20. He's quick. :D
