Why do they needed to destroy the synagogue like that, they could have used the building for a school or something like that. They´re fucked up, they lack many things, housing, medical services, schools, etc., ok, so would´nt it be more intelligent to keep these facilities that the settlers left behind to use them for some productive purpose? I supported the disengagement, simply because it's not possible for Israel to maintain a presence in Gaza with so few Israeli Jews surrounded by so many Arabs, but despite that, I'm convinced the Palestinians don't want peace--as their relentless Qassam barrage on Sderot and other Israeli towns since the Israeli disengagement from Gaza amply demonstrates.
