I noticed you had power saver mode on for these tests. In my past experience the advanced settings of this power mode significantly impair the computers ability to "perform" for photoshop/games/3d animation.
I just ordered a t901 to replace my almost 7 year old hp tx 2100 tablet pc that has the specs of an amd turion dual core at 2.1 ghz, 800 mhz ddr2 3 gigs, ati hd 3200 card and a 5400 rpm drive and it can play some of the new games on low w/ no lag. I doubt these 2 cpus perform the same.
You are using photoshop at 300dpi and about 2000&3000 pixels. Of course the bristle brushes will have slow down, especially at the size you are using them. And you use the pen on that software so we can see the delay?
concerning video games - you chose a pretty new game. I'm not sure what games you have, but can it run slightly older games fine? What about dragon age 1, fallout 3, half life 2, starcraft II, dawn of war 1 or 2, portal, fear 1, etc?
Does photoshop have pressure sensitivity with the brush? It doesn't look like it in your video. Also - you should try a more standard brush, the one you use definitely would tax the system a lot more.

I have a Fujitsu 5010 with the same sized screen. It is a bit big for note taking.
12.1 or 12.5 is optimal for drawing and writing.

I noticed that your keyboard is white... The pictures of the T901 show it in black. Is there another option for the keyboard?

I think you were wrong saying the lid is made of plastic.
In the specifications:

Shows magnesium is used to build the lid

@theforgedone The more standard brushes work perfectly, your right! Also some of the brushes are pressure sensitive (Usually the more standard ones)
