  • just used Listerine

  • the bass beginning is lofty!

  • FIRST BLACK METAL VOICE THAT I LIKE.

  • 4:59 - 5:11 = So epic it's worth turning up your speakers to the point where they will literally blow up :)

  • DESDE CUANDO RHAPSODY OF FIRE ES TRAHSH METAL????

  • @fphmetal Are you serious?

  • Well, the name itself is not in the song, but what is described in it fits with what happened to Airin, and it's certainly something Dargor would remember.

  • There is one thing I've been wondering: is this song about Airin, from the Emerald Sword saga?

  • @TheDalekEmperor

I think no. The name Airin is not write in the song ?!

  • Sorry, but WTF seriously, is this the Rhapsody that did masterpieces Emerald Sword and Dawn of Victory? No wonder Luca Turilli left the band if this is the kind of music the rest of the band wants to create? I am not that suprised that Fabio will be touring with Kamelot no more

  • @TheParaz Yes, this is the same Rhapsody, having evolved to this new symphonyc sound, making new stuff and kicking asses like never before. Doing something unic, and putting an gutural voice to represent the demon side of one of their most famous characters. You cannot be wanting them to do the same music from years ago. They evolved, and they did it good, the grow. Not like other bands like Kamelot or Sonata Arctica, who sound not good anymore.

    Rhapsody, I Hail You! =)

  • @sstargazer004 I agree that Kamelot and Sonata Arctica have taken a step in the wrong direction, but unfotunately I feel the same way about Rhapsody too. Rhapsody had already an unique sound, unlike most other powermetal bands, so there was no need to change the direction and if you want something very different then you can always listen to a different band? It is good with variety, but Fabio doing "deathmetal vocals" feel almost as out of place as if Meatloaf would try it ;)

  • that's the prove that Fabio Lione can do anything

  • love this song, but Tom Hess should buy a pair of passive pickups, his guitar sounds really bad, like a robot :D

  • @ejjkristofka it's not the guitar, it's tom hess that sucks...In the recording of the album there was still Luca Turilli, hess came after. and in fact he sucks, and can't compare to Luca Turilli's awsomess :)

  • I would never have expected Rhapsody Of Fire to get so low. I don't recognize them anymore, that makes me so sad. Besides I've never been able to stand Fabio Lione, he's such a poser. I can say that because I've seen him personally in a pub here in Italy playing some covers with some friends of his and he was all but a Heavy Metal singer.

    FABIO LIONE'S METAL ATTITUDE ≤ 0

  • Amazing.! O_O

    Hear the Glory ♥

  • Comment removed

  • THE SOLO IS SO FUCKING KILLER!!!!!!!

unfortunatly i won't be able to see it live played in a good way....tom hess sucks at all....

  • Finally! Some screams :D

  • JUST BEAUTIFUL MUSIC! AND ESPECIALLY THE EPIC RHYTM!!!!!!

  • Rhapsody is the best Heavy Metal Band I ever heard!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome song, one of the few i like from the new album.

  • Pooowweeeerrrrrr

  • Suprsingly epic, considering the voice...its different, but doesn't ruin the song. 5 stars

  • I wonder who is that "She" in the lyrics. The saga doesn't seem to include any love story. This song is so meaningful, especially that verse about definition of evil, it's so true.

  • @wishforeternity Dunno either but have u tried to connect the saga with Luca Turilli songs? (and by Luca Turilli

I mean his band project) Cause in most of that band songs theres a romantic story and well Luca has made some songs for RoF so it should worth to check that out. Btw listen "Demonheart".

  • @gerulphos Luca Turilli's solo project is the very very best music i ever heard. HIS MUSIC IS THE SOUNDTRACK OF MY LIFE! And Demonheart is my favourite song for 6 years.

In fact I listen Rhapsody only because Luca. So im very excited now, when Luca left Rhapsody Of Fire to start a new band called Rhapsody. If the new Rhapsody's singer will be Olaf Hayer, my dream will really come true!!!

  • @krameri5 Indeed its a great project, my fav song is "The Ancient forest of elves" is so dam epic lol

Btw didnt know he left RoF. This is fav power metal band and i guess it will change a lot without Luca XD

  • @gerulphos I tried, but I actually didn't like the vocals... But now that you mentioned it, I'll try one more time, or read the lyrics at least

  • @wishforeternity Actually i do like the vocals but not the electronic music that he used on his album as Dreamquest. About the lyrics yeah at least read them just to see if theres a connection or not lol

  • I see nothing wrong here. This is brilliance!

  • 1:08 - epic as balls

  • Great song, love power metal

  • Melodic Death Metal

  • this is porn for blind!

  • Great song!!!

  • Fucking love this. Blackened style vox fit so well.

  • those who doesnt stand the harsh voices are a bunch of faggots, i bet if they hear obituary or such they'll shit on their pants XD

  • bunch of negative assholes, its only good for a band to experiment with some new influences, but nooooo, you pussies only want to hear the same sound over and over again, suck my ass haters....

  • There's nothing wrong with screams. It's the end of the saga, the greatest confrontation in the history of the Enchanted Lands (correct me if I'm wrong), it's a moment of tension, and musically it gives more power to Rhapsody of Fire. I love their ancient way, but it's sometimes a bit too cheesy, and the screams correct this imperfection imo.

  • people keep talking aabout fabios scream songs thought id throw these out there. Athena - A New Religion!- Apocalypse. vision divine - 9 Degrees West of the Moon - Killing Speed of Time. Vision divine- send me an angel - apocaypse coming...i think not sure atm. rhapsodys thunders mighty roar. someone said when demons awake already. rhapsodys The Mystic Prophecy of the Demon Knight afer 9:00 minutes.....hehe ok.

  • this new albun is amazing i don't understand whats the problem with the sceams

  • The album itself maybe the one i like the least, but this song is definatly one of favorite ones of Rhapsody

  • me gusta pero hay por ahi algo que suena mucho a Vitalij Kuprij después de la mitad

  • this is new fantastic rhapsody !

  • How does this get dislikes?

  • @Eatplayfap 5 people have dyslexia

  • the best part is 1:35

  • the cover is a mix of "the frozen tears of angels" and "dawn of victory"!! XD

  • in my opinion, there is no problem with this black metal thing. the best songs of RoF (not the old albums) are reign of terror (what else..? ^^) and aeons of raging darkness :-)

  • Lione shouldn't do that to his voice. He's not young anymore, feels like he takes his clean voice for granted.

  • Never really liked Fabio's attempts at screaming vocals until this song. I think he's finally got it! Good shit Rhapsody.

  • its sounds like death metal, but is amazing

  • best song on this album!

  • Damn, right around 1:42 reminds me a ton of some Wintersun.

  • more screams this is amazing !

  • Holy shit! that was... amazing!

  • poderosa cancion...^^

  • orgasmic !

  • At first when i heard this song i was crying because Rhapsody have changed dramatically and that i will never see again that cheesy, folkish sound of them.and thats true, but now that this song is growing in me i can say that i like it a lot(although i would love to see them return back to the glorious days of Symphony of Enchanted Lands and Dawn of Victory)

  • @metalpsips You should listen to Freedom Call. They're still doing their cheesy power metal that I love so much (even with Legend of the Shadowking 2010). On the other hand, I also love the new sound of Rhapsody. After all, Luca Turilli's way of telling a story and writting songs hasn't changed at all, and that's what's more important here. For me, Rhapsody = Luca Turilli + Staropoli. The rest doesn't matter.

  • @SteveRowland yes i know what you mean and i agree 100% with you.but really now..dont you miss even a little the glorious days of Legendary Tales and the Emerald Sword Saga?...as for Freedom Call,i like them a lot,but their cheesyness is nothing compared to the old Rhapsody chessyness :P

  • @metalpsips Well, I own all the EP/LP/Singles of Rhapsody (except for Holy Thunderforce). I got to admit that there has been some changes through the years. Even though, it doesn't mean that the glorious days are over. First time I heard Reign of Terror and this one, I had the same feeling as when I heard for the first time Dawn of Victory and Rain Of A Thousand Flames. By the way, in a battle between We Are One (in a cheesy way?) and Land of Immortal, Freedom Call wins. ;)

  • @metalpsips And I don't know why a lot of peoples seem to say that this song (along with Reign of Terror) sounds like black metal. They clearly don't listen to black metal. There are other good power metal bands that make use of screaming. Mercenary handles it pretty well, as an example. They're not black metal at all... And screaming isn't only about black metal (I hate black metal). Death metal is way better. :P

  • @SteveRowland yes it has nothing to do with Black Metal. Its just screaming vocals with some roughness!nothing more, nothing less.No need to categorise it somewhere

  • This is amazing. Get over yourselves.

  • below comment is false

  • rhapsody are dead....

  • I think Rhapsody has mind-reading powers of their fans or something. I started out with symphonic power metal thanks to these guys. Then my tastes grew and changed into the more brutal metal scene, eventually landing at Melodic Death Metal. Rhapsody has yet to lose my interest with anything they've came out with so far :)

  • awesome epic song love u rhapsody!! i love the chorus near the end when fabio joins!!

  • I'd really love to see one of their album in full death metal voices :Q_

  • I personally think that this is a great song and it's nice to have some songs that are more scream-ish and some that aren't!! They shared one of their other tracks on Facebook (but nowhere else as far as I know), but don't worry, screams aren't going to be prevalent on the album.... Reminds me of "Reign of Terror" to some degree. :P

  • @chaosvoider I'm totally agree with you!

  • @krameri5 LOVE FABIO'S BLACK METAL VOCALS!

  • @chaosvoider The other track that they released is called "Tornado", and its now on youtube as well :)

  • Comment removed

  • @chaosvoider infact Luca Turilli has said that Aeons and Reign are similar. I can't wait for new album now.

  • @chaosvoider And a little bit on 1:12 - 2:01 from "When Demons Awake"

  • @xOktavariuMx when demons awake reign of terror and aeons of raging darkness ARE the only "Black Metal" songs of Rhapsody! ^^

  • @chaosvoider whats wrong with screams?

  • @holypowermetal Sometimes, the screams are just kind of randomly thrown in rather than thought out.

  • @chaosvoider You're absolutely right. Some days I scream too. Some days I scream at you. Some days I turn blue at the thought of not enough screams. That didn't entirely rhyme. I might go post a screaming video in approval of you, but my landlord might hear it.

  • @chaosvoider Same line as "Reign of Terror" and "Thunder's Mighty Roar", epic screams, this is definitely my fav song of this album with "From Chaos to Eternity".

Its so fucking insane gotta say XD

  • @chaosvoider Fabio Lione is just an awesome singer. he can sing like that and make awesomes screams. he's just awesome, he's scream is even better than Dani Filth's one

  • That shit blows up my head! I love it!

  • They're back with raging power after days of silence ;)

  • They said this would be their most brutal song in the album. So dont worry, They will have more symphonic sounding songs. personally i hope they use less screaming vocals, so you can really hear how well Fabio sings. I also hope they go back to a more symphonic sound.

  • They said this would be their most brutal song in the album. So dont worry, They will have more symphonic sounding songs.

  • Bon#r achieved

  • I like how they make the sound more dramatic with the "black metal sound" It fits the music i think :) And I sense some Symphony X in the main riff? Or is it just me?

  • @ChrisSteeleDK I also sense main riff is somehow familar, even though I cannot direclty say it's from some song... But still this is a great music, love this dramatic style (although this isn't so epic..)

  • in my personal opinion this song is great but i like more the old rhapsody this song is cool but needs more symphony

  • After they came to Nuclear Blast their music has been even more epic than before \m/

  • AWESOME!!!

  • RESTART BOTTON ---->0:00<----

  • Help me out here guys, 'cause it's a little awkward... how am I supposed to pronounce "poenis"?

  • Kocham to.

  • dela ptmr RHapsody of fire , cuando no alex staropoli majestuandonos con su sinfonia de teclados

esaos malditos 2 q puesieron q no les gusta q se vayan a la pinche mierda son venezolanos

  • Ive died and reach paradise

Its just the Algalord Chronicles describes it

  • My favorite band ever! this is glorious!

  • que onda esta wea alguien me puede explicar por favorr me parece que la mezcla es un poco exjerada pero bueno

  • Ahhhhhhhh.... RHAPSODY!! *faints*

  • I like, I'm eager to hear more =) But I'm surprised to see the new album released only one year after Frozen Tears.

  • I love Rhapsody. I really do. But this is absolute crap

  • @crywithasmile87 you have absolutely no taste in music than

  • @crywithasmile87 I'm also a huge Rhapsody fan. I've been listening to them for 11 years and I just love them. Even a lot of the stuff on the new albums. This song is pure crap though, just like you said. No inspiration what so ever, no meaning, no point, no beauty.

  • Requiem aeternam!

    Dona eis, Domine

    Requiem aeternam!

  • Holy shit!!!! MASTERPIECE !! Amazing !!

  • Promis not to kill me but this and Reign of Terror are my favorites of Rhapsody... :)

  • OH MY GOD, I just LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

  • Very good lead and rhythm guitarists in this. But the vocals and the melody just ruin this song for me. RoF have really lost the balance between Symphony and Metal since Symphony of the Enchanted Lands II. Now it just feels messy rather than inspiring like the Emerald sword Saga was.

  • LUCA AND STAROPOLI ARE AMAZING YEAHHHHHH !!!!!!!

  • Guitars! this is good

  • Guitars! this is good

  • guitars!!!

  • guitars!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Honestly? Don't like the uber aggressive Fabio's voice. But just like Reign of Terror the song is great except for that.

They said it's to be the heaviest one on the album, didn't they?

  • The keyboard solo reminds me of the intro to The Cage by Sonata Arctica.

  • they got childrenofbodomizated!

  • me encanta la puta madree!!!!♥

  • do not recognize them: (

although they have kept something of the old album

    is not the best

this is not their style D:

  • Rules :) love this occasional side to their music!

  • nyeh It sounds like death metal I guess :S I think I liked the albums symphony of enchanted lands more, cuz there it was more like a symphony as a whole... Not that this is bad music I just miss the old Rhapsody :\

  • @AshleyRhapsody Reign Of Terror also sounds like black metal, but this is not problem. This is good in only 1-2 song, but they wont do this in all songs.

  • @krameri5 Death and Black Metal??? really? hahaha

  • @AshleyRhapsody This is nearing the end of the saga, you can't expect it to be the same as always.

  • @AshleyRhapsody Don't forget that their music is telling a story so they have to make the song reflect the part of the story it's telling, Frozen Tears of Angel had songs like this but it's because it was telling the song from the evil character's POV.

  • @Cloud23

Um no. There was no point in frozen tears of angels that we were having the evil characters point of view.

  • @Amzingred Reign of Terror.

  • @Cloud23

Also, i take it you didn't actually read the lyrics to this song. If you think "evil" would say things such as this, wow...

  • @Amzingred I take it you didn't read the description of the song by Luca Turilli? It's about the rape of our planet by war and selfish needs. Come on dude, how long have

  • @Amzingred I did read the lyrics. Did you? Did you read the description of the song by Luca? He says that it's about the rape of the world and how we do bad things to our beautiful planet.

  • @Cloud23

Yea i read the lyrics and yea, I know what Luca had to say about what the song is about. So...what does that have to do with what you said that it is the point of view from the evil characters from their story. IT DOESN'T!! ;)

  • @Cloud23

Strictly from lyrics alone, it is about losing something or someone special due to some "evil" action taken by a person or an event. Which then we bring in Luca's description of the song, the "evil" action is due to consequences of war. And since he stated this is dedicated to all the innocent victims lost due to war that's happening in real life, that means their is NO possible way this is telling the story from the evil characters point of view.

  • @AshleyRhapsody This doesn't sound a god damn thing like death metal.

  • @Obombration I don't know if you actually like RoF or care, but I support that claim. RoF aren't capiable of producing death metal after all of the years of mindrot from making this garbage.

  • @xxdanxexx WTF are you speaking?? Flower metal band for girls?? They are the most true band ever!

If you think Manilla Road is a better power metal band, than Rhapsody, you dont know what is called power

  • @krameri5 Oh, my bad. You think "Lordi" is a good band. Please, forgive me, while I disacknowledge your existence.

  • @xxdanxexx i dont understand, why do you speak about Lordi...

Yes, i like them. You like Slipknot, i dont like them. However im still dont know why do we speak about them at a Rhapsody video!

  • @krameri5 You didn't watch the whole video obviously. I abhor Slipknot.

  • @xxdanxexx yes i didnt. I tried, but i was not able to listen that :d

But i still dont know why do we speak about Lordi and Slkipknot at a Rhapsody video. I understand you dont like Rhapsody, or you dont like only this song, but in that case dont listen it, and dont say they are a flower metal band.

  • @krameri5 I'm not that god damn retarded, kid. Think before you say something. There's no possibility that someone reviewed an album and you looked at the review and there lies a link to this video? How about it came up on a discussion on a metal forum?

  • @xxdanxexx Yeah man what are you speaking?!?! You're insulting both flower metal and girls, you fucking dick!

  • Much better than Hammerfall's latest crap. I truly hope this album will be at least on par with the previous one. I really like this more serious approach to their music, and less of the fantasy lyrics.

  • THIS IS INSANE!! RHAPSODY IS AMAZING!! FABIO RULEZ!!!

  • Fuck Yeah

  • @al02549248 fuckin powerful yeah xD
