  • Great talents, all! Thanks for speaking your mind, from the heart! Please hear me out: Google occupyMARINES, occupyPOLICE and their fb friends: They honor their oath! Domestic enemies = traitors who've commited treason! Google Israel 9/11! Google dancing israelis! Google bush nazi! Google zionists own! Google ndaa unconstitutional! SEMPER FI BROTHERS AND SISTERS! Truth is a bitter, jagged pill to swallow but the Time has come; NOW IS THE TIME! Wake up! Find me on facebook & subscribe. PEACE...

  • Natalie said: "just so you know, i'm in the good side with y'all. I don't want this war, this violence and i'm ashamed that our president is fron Texas (where she comes from". She said that in a live concert in england and because of allega protests and manifestations there has been in england and all round the world against iraq's war. She didn't mean she didn't support the troops, she just ment she was against iraq's war but once american troops invaded it, of course she supported them!!!

  • @geppetto96 And you know this...how? I guess you can fool yourself into believing she meant that comment....if you ignore her admission that it was nothing more than a JOKE, her apology to Bush, and her insistence for almost a year that it wasn't a true sentiment. You know nothing.

  • @DixieMontana3 You've only heard them through electronics. You've never heard them "live".

  • @Rascalchicks REALLY!!!!!!

  • @Rascalchicks America didnt do shit to her,,,,She made her anti America comments....It would be great to see her leave.....

  • as a military family, and spouse- ur despicable!

  • why do ppl listen to there video and just bash on it if you dont like it than what gave you the motive to listen to them....wtf!!!

  • i thought the USA was the land of free speech , they have an opinion , not mine , not many peoples but its threes and they have a right to express it without being scared etc .

  • @bigrider2806 It is. It just isn't the land of Freedom from Consequences. Piss off your fan base, and expect a loss in revenue. Too simple for you?

  • Well, I think u put together a really good vid.. I love this song and how they were able to use their 'right' as American's. "Freedom of speech" to bounce back from the 'right' they had to use in the first place..

  • @upwordbound LOL. They are as gone as farts in the wind. Freedom of speech? LOL. She said whatever she wanted every day. Her rights were never infringed. On the other hand, they have NO inalienable right to popularity or profit. Their tailspin reduction in profits, despite what you might think, was no national tragedy. She's gone and for good reasons.

  • @Therealmensa For someone who seems to be such a hater. You sure seem to Know, 'or think' you know everything about the Dixie Chicks. I wouldn't hold your head to high if I were you. You never know - you just might catch a wiff of them "farts in the wind" again sometime. Of course you seem to know everything about them though.

  • @upwordbound I'm not a hater of the DC's, I'm a truth agent. If what I post looks like hate, its because it differs so much from the fantasy the DC propaganda machine tried to create and you bought. I'm just here to call bullshit when it surfaces, and you are posting bullshit.

  • @Therealmensa or truth agent. I "posted" that they had freedom of speech,, and used that right to bounce back. As far as anything else.. I don't care what your calling out as 'bs'. I think the song is Awesome, briliant idea for a song as well, and they are Awesome as singers/musicians/entertainers/etc.. I'm going to continue with my life without typing post to u. Hopefully you can get over this issue with the Dixie Chicks..

  • @upwordbound Hopefully, you'll pull your head out before the whole of society has to adopt you for mercy's sake, lowbrow.

  • @Therealmensa if you dont like them than why are you listening to them???

  • @liveandloveone801 Who says I came here to listen? Three thousand showed up at Shepherd's Bush Theatre in 2003 to hear the DC's sing. Instead, the concert was stopped so Maines could make a pandering remark, all to gain favor with a predominantly anti-war crowd. In 2006, millions watched the Grammys thinking they were going to see the best talent awarded Grammys. Instead, they got to see Grammy voters (not the public) go political and degrade the real worth of their awards. Any other questions?

  • @Therealmensa what did you come here to do bitch them out? get a life and stop pushing ppl down... they have amazing voices and they got farther than you will ever! dont go to a youtube video and than say you didnt go there to watch them because we all know that is bull...

  • @liveandloveone801 "We all know"...that is the indicator you THINK you think for everyone..oh, except for those that are wrong. I simply take a walk over the dumbass that reeks from the comments here. Welcome to pwnville.

  • @Therealmensa what gave you the motive to watch this.... that is what i am getting at dumbass....

  • @liveandloveone801 What part of " I didn't come here to listen" do you not get?

  • @liveandloveone801 Regarding them getting farther than I will ever do; They made approximately 120 million gross in sales and concerts over the years 1995 to 2007. Lets say that operating/producing expenses ( Plus Sony, Renshaw, Weinstein, Kopple, and the plethora of lyricists and songwriters that produced nearly all their "original" music) got 80%. Divide by 3 for each, then divide by 16 years, thats annually 500K. Now, calculate higher living costs (big houses, security..). I did as well.

  • @upwordbound your a dumb ass You shouldnt have to pay a price for expressing your opinion since the 2nd amendment of our constitution says you don't. its people like you that make this country grow worse everyday. Your speaking your mind now and I back you on your freedom of speech right except for one thing your doing it in a typical american double standard way. You're basicly saying "its okay for me but not you"

  • @mymusicalexile OK. I'm not sure what your deal is. You want me to continue to argue with you reply after reply? Or say your right? You said you back me for speaking my mind (freedom of speech), but then you seem to almost cry, and certainly call me names (kinda childish) because I don't want to Waste my time arguing with you. Please Go Get A Life! Your not worth the time I've wasted already. As far as calling me a typical American. You have no idea how far you missed the mark on that.

  • I am so inspired by all of you. I did my own version of what you did. When everyone was listening to autotuned swears, I listened to you.

  • Three of the most talented women in America, were they wrong?

  • Time for some fun facts about the Dixie Twits: They never offered the Red Cross a donation of any kind.

  • @Therealmensa Do you work for the red cross? Do you have any evidence of any kind to argue that they did not offer the red cross the 1 million that they said they did? Even if you did work for the red cross, you still wouldn't know if they did or not. Ignorance spreads when people don't question what people tell them.

  • @AlchemyInLove GO TO THE RED CROSS ORG SITE AND READ. You will have to search under MYTHS to find the alleged offer of a "donation". Do you think the Dixie CHicks would tolerate the Red Cross publicly posting that not only did the DC's NOT offer a "donation", that they ignored two offers to put them on the National Celebrity Council of the Red Cross? You've been served. If you still believe the DC's offered a donation, then you are simply ignoring facts that argue against your pro-DC agenda.

  • @Therealmensa That is interesting, considering when primetime interviewed the dixie chicks, they wrote to the red cross to confirm whether it was true or not and the Red Cross statement was basically saying that they did offer the money except the Red Cross saw it as a business proposition for them to endorse the DC's. Now... obviously both of those can't be correct and the primetime interview was not biased in the DC favour, in fact it seemed the other way around. Go watch it.

  • @AlchemyInLove Your paraphrasing is hardly credible. You COULD have posted the exact wording from their website, but that would expose your agenda. The Red Cross didn't "SEE" it as a business proposition, it WAS a business deal. Comments by a reporter are considered more credible than the exact wording from the Red Cross rep? Are you that eaten up? You watch reporters exaggerate and skew (just like Kopple did). I'll believe the Red Cross over some idiotic reporter.

  • @AlchemyInLove Here is what is both interesting and factual:"The Dixie Chicks' management approached the American Red Cross and inquired about a promotional partnership for their forthcoming tour. There was no offer for an unrestricted donation to the Red Cross; rather, the "offer" was actually a business proposal."

Quote from the Red Cross site. All they had to do was walk up with a check for the money, and the Red Cross would have taken it. Get it? Probably not.

  • Listen to this guys version "US Marine "answers" Dixie Chicks song!" Yeah thats right,an American Soldier. I'm glad America got rid of those chicks

  • love them .are they still boycott the dixie chicks songs from the radio?

  • Dixie Angels - Hurry Back - Look What Mr. B's doing now, needle point, in a rockin chair................

  • awesome video.

  • F.U.T.K

  • An American friend of mine said, right after 9-11, that "we most have done something awful to somebody for them to do this to us". A rare sentiment from an American, but one I respect a lot, I think he is asking the right question.

Being a Canadian, I can't stand the governments, but the U.S. comes up with some very special people, and the Dixie Chicks are right up at the top of the heap.

  • The Americans that couldn't handle the opinions of one Texan of another, just showed their extreme insecurity.

These people equate security with perpetrating violence against other people, or their own people if they speak out of line.

Security comes from within. If you can find some inner peace, you can share it, and build security.

  • Love this video! It always gets me when Martie starts crying :(

  • @DIXIEchics I agree!

  • the woman at like 1:57 that has her son in her arms, and is holding a small american flag...saw herself in the documentary, and apologized to Natalie afterwards... She said it made her sick to see herself act like that..or something like that.

  • two thinks

1:Nat is so beautiful! its hard to believe what this girl and this voice are real!

2:some american patriots talk to "land of freedom"& its a great idea...but stop to jocking the world telling us that, while still killing people in the name of revenge (and the not so secret dirty petrol money) since long time ago.&stop to fucking with the people who wish PEACE on the World. these girls was looking this when nat says thats little words. They dont want the War,i Dont want too!

  • I just want to say2thinks:

1: Nat is so beautiful!its hard to believe what this girl and this voice are real!

2:some american patriots talk to "land of freedom" and its a great idea...but stop to jocking with the world telling us that while still killing people in the name of revenge(and the not so secret dirty petrol money)&stop to fucking the people who ask PEACE on the World. these girls was looking this when nat says thats little words. They dont want the War, i Dont want too!

  • i hate bush FUCK BUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what happened to these girls was fucking stupid what happened to freedom of speech!!! love the fact tho 2 years after natalie made that VERY TRUE comment the rest of america saw bush for what he was a FUCKING TOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • we love this song .

  • I love this because. ITS CALLED FREEDOM OF SPEECH PEOPLE. they can say whatever they want to say

  • These young ladies make me proud to be American! They said what so many of us think - but do not have the platform to reach such a spectrum. The puppets that accused them of not being patriotic know VERY LITTLE about our Constitution..... and maybe THEY should be the ones to move to France! They would like the socialism better there - where the herd follows comlicitly! AMEN - Dixie Chicks - Never shut up and keep on singin! ATL- GA

  • you should get the movie Shut Up and Sing because it is a whole documentary on what happened. and she said it in March 2003.

  • What was the story behind the Dixie Chicks?

What exactly did they say about Bush? All I know is that it was right after 9-11...

  • Natalie said at a concert in London that she was ashamed that the (then) President was from Texas. That's all she said. Hell a lot of us who live in Texas were ashamed and now that he's back still are. Good for her for not jumping on the bandwagon and praising an over spoiled, under educated idiot (his choice, he rather liked partying to studying) who lied his way to the white house.

  • i LOVE THIS SONG!! SO PPL GET YOUR OWN THOUGHTS BRAIN AND POLITICS COZ THE STUFF YOUR PRES SHARES WITH YOU IS BULL!

  • Thanks for sharing..love it. Love them! Good for you fffreddie and everyone to have free speech. Freedom is beyond hatred.

  • The Chicks are great! Bush is.... well I think one of Terry Fators old dolls would have done a better job of it. I am not American and not entitled to an opinion as such, but judging from his politics on the international scene he is nothing but a dud. A bleak period in American political history.

The Chicks rock and they stand behind their comment. Go girls!

  • omg i love it

  • These women amaze me...i love Natalie and support what she said because it was her opinion, and she has every right to speak her mind. I was so impressed to see how tight they are as a group, its inspirational.

  • Does anyone know where I can find "shut up and sing"? I've never seen it, is it on DVD?

  • It's on HBO every so often...I watch it everytime I catch it. It's not a movie though...it's a documentary.

  • I guess it is a movie..but I have watched a documentary. sorry

  • blockbuster video has it, i just rented it for 99 cents...Next time i rent it i'm going to "loose it"

  • omg, thats a great idea, me too!! :)

  • mooooooo, following the herd, huh?

  • omg i love shut up and sing

    such a powerful movie

when martie starts to cry i just lose

    i love them so much!

  • thankyou that was a brilliant I loved it

Brilliant artists who bow to no one.
