Hogan could have good matches, but usually it was because they other guy was carrying him. People always say 'you think he can't have a good match watch his matches in Japan.' so he does have some good matches in Japan, and it shows Vince protected him even more by not letting him wrestle like he did in Japan. However most the people he wrestled in Japan were bonafide legends who quite obviously carried him, guys like Stan Hansen, Abdullah the Butcher, Great Muta, Tatsumi Fujinami, Antonio Inoki

True story I hated hogan so much as a kid I was born in 1979 so I was 10 at this time and my step dads brother was like 13 and he was rooting for hogan and when hogan won he got excited so I flipped and put him in like a sleeper hold and was actually choking him out. I hate this, they couldnt give one match to macho over hogan. Not one, even though all HOGAN was, was a hype man. Macho man had the real moves. They gave Micheals a win over Hart and the Rock over Austin, but not Macho over Hogan.

Another thing, The Ultimate Warrior never wanted to loose to Hogan at Wrestlemania, which I think was alittle unfortunate. It was supposed to be Hulk Hogan vs Ultimate Warrior in a rematch at WM& and Hogan was suppose to win, but Warrior instead wanted to loose to Slaughter at the Royal Rumble two minths earlier so Hogan would instead beat Slaughter for the title.
