It's much harder wioth a limited amount of health in Fall of Men. In R2, Health is unlimited like in all other futuristic games... but you cannot carry every weapon, that's what is pissing me off. Anyway i think R2 on superhuman is easier to beat.
With the huge number of yellow vials lying around health is pretty much unlimited in Fall of Man. The only thing that makes Fall of Man slightly difficult is small number of checkpoints. If R2 had fewer checkpoints it would be much harder.
I guess I understand why you used Primary LAARK fire in conjunction with Frags.
Angel - Did you not know you could HOLD L1 so tags on 'fleshy' targets never go away or am I not seeing something? (it's the same as how one can pull of a bunch of Bullseye Bomb variations) It looked like you hit with the first tag so if you did know I can't see why you would ever release your 'lock' on it.
Menials - Seems unnecessary to use Air-Fuel or really any sort of ammo against these as is. Melee FTW
Against all of the Bullseye Mk. II Hybrids, I just wanted total explosive pwnage, so yeah that's why I just used primary LAARK and nades. I haven't ever tried any other tactic against them. The arc charger might be some use, but I wouldn't know. This level provides ridiculous quantities of LAARK ammo, so I feel compelled to go nuts with it.
I knew you could hold L1 to make Bullseye traps and so on, but I didn't know L1 would make tags remain on flesh targets. Interesting...
I've only tried to strats against that initial wave:
-LAARK Pods (rediculous damage) *grenades too*
-Bullseye Mark II "Bullseye Bomb" (VERY disappointing results)
I'd like to try my hand with the Arc Charger and Dragon here especially. I don't see even great handling of the Sapper working in such an area/case.
It's just one of the pleasures I picked up when teaching myself how to do what I'd seen others do (the trap). Thus my understanding of the feature is likely beyond theirs.
As for the menials, I wasn't going to risk even a 1% chance of taking damage from them. If my mind wanders for even a split second, and I misjudge a melee attack, then I will lose 1/4 life at least. Remember, it takes two melee attacks to kill a menial on Superhuman.
I've gotten well in tune with Melee and I feel my handle on Menial behavior is good enough that I can safely address the lot of them...so long as I don't get distracted by traps, other foes, etc.
~2 melee shots...very interesting. I think I'll enjoy seeing how much tougher our foes are on these settings
How hard is it to melee those low level shits in mass like at the end? One on one they aren't much of a threat. Also, IF it grabbed you on Superhuman..how badly would you be injured even if you shook it off as fast as possible?
It's not too hard to melee all of the low-level guys, but I chose to use the carbine to speed things up. If you get grabbed on superhuman it only does one bar of damage if you shake it off fast.
Can someone give me a link to a vid that shows how to install black ops skull head and mechanic skin pls ?
