@theolivetree95 if the flap doesnt come out, you have to open the camera, in the dark and try to feed the flap into the rollers. The fuji film, and really old polaroid film does tend to do this once in a while.
I got an Automatic 100 Land Camera for free at a tag sale after buying a Canon FX for 5 bucks! The Land Camera apears to be in brand new condition. If I am using 100 speed black and white film, would it be better to set the speed at 75, or 3000? Thanks
YOU ARE A GENIUS. I HAVE AN ANTIQUE POLAROID AND I OPENED IT. AND DID NOT KNOW HOW TO CLOSE IT BACK DOWN. THANKS TO YOU I DID NOT DESTROY A PERFECT ANTIQUE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Do you know how to modify a Polaroid 250 camera to use AAA batteries? can you please show me how? I just got my camera and i'm unable to use it bc i don't have batteries. thnx!
your easiest thing to do is to just buy the correct battery from batteries plus. (if they dont have it in stock- and every time ive bought one, they did,- they will order it) but if you want to (and i have done this conversion myself on a few) you can find good instructions here up in the video description
Its a PX19, or everready 531 equivalent. I got mine for my 100 model at batteries plus, but you might have to have them dig through their stuff.
otherwise, because the 250 uses the 4.5v battery, its a little more difficult to modify for AAA, because they dont make and holders for THREE AAA cells, you have to buy a holder for 4 cells, and do some trick wiring.... and also trim the battery holder. if you dont want to go thru that, zbattery dot com has the px19 for 7.95
there is no yellow tab on newer films, they are white.. if you are using really old polaroid branded film packs, as they get older, they tend to stick together, and will not come out when you pull them. ditch those packs and pick up some Fuji.
Very Helpful Vid! I got a Polaroid 195 today and didn't know how to use it (as far as dealing with pulling the film out) and this was extremely helpful. I was quite nervous that it was broken because i broke the black thing exactly like you did
Not the easiest to use Polaroid camera. Printing pictures with that thing seems to be almost as difficult (though not as boring) as with a digital camera.
most likely you didnt let them develop long enough. they tend to be green underdeveloped and bluish if left to develop too long. make sure you know how long it needs to be.. (the box instructions will tell you) most color film is either 60 or 90 seconds.
i got a polaroid 335 land camera with the case and instructions

how does film cost and where do you get it????
hangmanneal 1 year ago
@hangmanneal Polaroid stopped making film in 2009. They are on eBay but they are REALLY expensive.
I believe Fuji film makes a similar pack film... FP-100B is b&w film i think
